On March 30, Vietnam Satellite Digital Television Company Limited (VSTV) announced a change in its business registration. Accordingly, Mr. Axel Gallant is no longer the company's representative.

Instead, the leader of Hanoi Media and Entertainment Company Limited holds the position of General Director and legal representative of VSTV.

This company became the shareholder owning 49% of the capital contribution in VSTV, replacing Canal+ (France). Currently, VSTV has a charter capital of over 344 billion VND. Besides Hanoi Media and Entertainment Company Limited, Vietnam Television (VTV) still holds 46% of the capital and Opal Media Company Limited holds the remaining 5%.

Established in 2009, VSTV is a leading provider of pay-TV services via satellite, holding the broadcasting rights for the English Premier League in Vietnam and many other top international sporting events such as UFC, F1, and the Australian Open. However, the company has faced numerous challenges and is now in need of restructuring to operate more efficiently.
