Apple has just introduced iOS 26 at the WWDC 2025 event with many notable changes, from a completely new interface to a series of deeply integrated artificial intelligence features. Among them, a small change that users are interested in is the ability to customize snooze time in the Clock app.
Previously, the iPhone only allowed a single snooze time of 9 minutes, a number that originated from the mechanical limitations of traditional alarm clocks. On iOS 26, users can adjust the snooze time from 1-15 minutes, suitable for each individual's needs and waking habits. The setup is quite simple, users just need to select a specific alarm, then adjust the duration in the "Snooze Time" section.
This change is technically small, but it's a welcome change that offers a more personalized experience. While some people may only need a few minutes of snooze to wake up and start their day, many users may need more time to mentally prepare to wake up.
In addition to the alarm feature, iOS 26 also brings many other notable improvements. Apple introduces a new interface called “Liquid Glass” with transparency, reflection and real-time interaction effects to make the iPhone more lively. The new operating system also integrates Apple Intelligence with essential functions such as live translation support, AI image generation, text summarization and smart feedback in applications.
Some other new features include smart call filtering (Call Screening), automatic call center waiting support (Hold Assist), creating surveys in group chats, and upgrading the photo manager with a more intuitive interface.
iOS 26 is currently in developer beta. Apple plans to release a public beta in July and a final release this fall.
