These days, preparations for the democratic election day are underway in Cu Pui commune with urgency and seriousness. From propaganda and decorations to ensuring security and order, and training for polling stations, everything has been basically completed, ready for voters to exercise their rights and civic duties.
Ready for the national festival!
Cu Pui commune currently has 25 villages and hamlets, with a total population of 27,941 people, comprising 24 ethnic groups, of which ethnic minorities account for approximately 79%. Due to its large geographical area, scattered population, and many villages and hamlets located far from the commune center, the local Party committee and government have implemented election preparations early and in a rigorous and coordinated manner.

These days, along the central roads of the commune and in the villages and hamlets, national flags, banners, slogans, and election propaganda posters are prominently displayed, creating a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere. At the polling stations, the decoration and preparation of ballot boxes, tables, chairs, and polling rooms are carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring convenience for voters to exercise their right to vote.
According to the Cư Pui Commune Election Committee, the entire commune has established 8 election committees and 25 polling stations, arranging 25 polling areas corresponding to the villages and hamlets in the area. The list and brief biographies of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels are publicly posted at community gathering points for people to easily follow and learn about.
According to Huynh Duy Trung, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Pui commune, preparations for the election have been seriously implemented by the locality in accordance with the directives of higher authorities. At this point, the basic tasks have been completed, ready for the election day to take place safely and in accordance with regulations.

“Immediately after receiving the plan from higher authorities, the commune established election committees and assigned specific tasks to each member. At the same time, we organized professional training courses for officials participating in the election work to ensure they understand the procedures and comply with the law,” said Mr. Huynh Duy Trung.
In addition, the local authorities are paying special attention to ensuring security and order before, during, and after election day. Commune police and militia forces are assigned to be on duty at polling stations; plans are being developed to ensure security, prevent fires, and handle any unforeseen situations.
Propaganda efforts were also intensified through the public address system and community gatherings in villages and hamlets to help people understand the meaning and importance of the election, as well as the rights and obligations of voters. As a result, people's awareness of the election has been increasingly raised, creating high consensus throughout the community.
Voters choose people who are both talented and virtuous.
Alongside the preparations by the local government, in recent days, voters in Cu Pui commune have also been actively researching the candidates in order to choose worthy representatives to represent the will and aspirations of the people.
In many villages and hamlets, people regularly visit the bulletin boards listing the brief biographies and action programs of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. Many voters also participate in voter outreach sessions organized by the Fatherland Front to directly listen to the action programs and discuss issues of concern to the locality and the people.

Voter H' Nga Niê (from Cư Phiang village) said that the villagers are very interested in this election. Everyone is trying to thoroughly research the candidates in order to choose someone who is capable, dedicated, and truly represents the voice of the people.
“Through meetings with voters, we heard the candidates present their action programs and solutions for local development. People hope that those elected will be close to the people, regularly listen to their opinions, and contribute to resolving existing difficulties and problems at the grassroots level,” shared voter H’ Nga Niê.
Speaking as a grassroots propagandist, Mr. Hung Xuan Thanh, Secretary of the Party Branch of Cu Te village, said that the village has 227 households with 1,563 people, including 5 ethnic minority groups, of which 826 are voters. Over the past period, the Party branch and the village self-governing committee have regularly held meetings to educate the people about the significance of the election. They also requested that voters whose children work far from home call home before March 15th to participate in the election.

According to Mr. Hung Xuan Thanh, the villagers are very interested in this election. They all hope to elect representatives who are truly dedicated and capable, who will represent the voice of the people and contribute to implementing the policies and guidelines of the Party and State. Many families are reminding each other to make time and are eagerly awaiting the day to vote, so they can fully participate and demonstrate their civic responsibility.
