The journey of starting a business from horse farming for Mr. Tran Van Quang, Son Ha village, Ban Vuoc commune was like a fate. In 2018, Mr. Quang was able to access an Agribank loan of 100 million VND to invest in growing organic vegetables, but for many reasons, this project failed. Thinking about the path of starting a business, seeing that the locality has a lot of potential for developing large-scale livestock farming, Mr. Quang decided to borrow an additional 300 million VND to raise breeding horses. Currently, Mr. Quang's family has 23 horses, of which 15 are breeding. On average, horses breed once a year, each horse costs 15 million VND. Meanwhile, raising horses does not require much care, mainly having a good source of grass and preventing some basic diseases. Horses are easier to raise than buffaloes and cows, and have fewer diseases, so the risk is low. According to calculations, if all 23 horses breed, Mr. Quang's family's income from horse farming will be stable.
Mr. Tran Van Quang shared: Agribank Bat Xat is like a companion on the path of starting a business. It is Agribank's preferential interest rate loan that has helped me develop a breeding horse model.

As an Agribank customer since the 1990s, Mr. Luu Van Quang has worked in many industries, from construction business owner to cold-water fish farmer. Mr. Quang's cold-water fish farm is in Ngai Cho village, Den Thanh commune with a scale of 40 tanks, water surface area of over 3,000 m2 mainly raises sturgeon. Currently, the fish farm is raising over 100,000 cold water fish (85% are sturgeon), of which over 20,000 fish are ready for sale. Each year, the farm exports 40 - 50 tons of commercial fish to the market. After deducting expenses, the fish farm earns an average profit of over 2 billion VND per year. Mr. Luu Van Quang has become a loyal customer of Agribank Bat Xat with an outstanding debt of over 6 billion VND.
Mr. Luu Van Quang said: Agribank's preferential loans for agricultural and rural development helped me build a fish farm as large as today. From the initial 6 tanks (in 2011), I invested more every year, and now there are 40 fish tanks with modern water systems, bringing stable income to my family.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Dai, Deputy Director of Agribank Bat Xat (Agribank Lao Cai II) said: With more than 1,140 households with outstanding loans of over VND 554 billion in the agricultural and rural sector, Agribank Bat Xat is affirming its key role in bringing credit capital to remote areas, helping people invest in production, contributing to the sustainable restructuring of the agricultural economy .
Along with supporting people with initial loans, Agribank Bat Xat also creates conditions for households to borrow in rotation, continuing to have more capital for production. Thanks to that, people are more proactive in investing and developing the economy.
To ensure that capital reaches the right people and for the right purposes, Agribank Bat Xat has closely coordinated with local socio-political organizations to organize public and transparent assessments. Agribank Bat Xat has also actively deployed electronic banking services and non-cash payments to create the best conditions for people to access loans conveniently.

Thanks to practical and effective solutions, Agribank Bat Xat has become a bridge to bring credit to farmers in the district, contributing to promoting agricultural and rural development, effectively implementing Resolution 10 of the Provincial Party Committee on the Strategy for developing commodity agriculture in the area.
