The book "Proud of Vietnam's Heritage":

The book "Proud of Vietnam's Legacy" vividly and comprehensively reflects the great and historically significant achievements of the country in the fields of economics, culture, society, Party building, and the political system over the 80 years since the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; it particularly emphasizes the great and historically significant achievements of the country over the past 40 years of reform.

The book, a collaboration between the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the National Political Publishing House, consists of three parts.

Part one, "Vietnam - The Era of Independence, Unification, and Socialist Construction," clarifies the major milestones of the Vietnamese revolutionary history from 1930 to 1975, affirming that the birth and leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam was the decisive factor in all the victories of the Vietnamese revolution; the great victory of the August Revolution in 1945, leading to the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and the Great Spring Victory of 1975 liberating the South and unifying the country are glorious milestones in the history of the Vietnamese nation, symbols of the faith, will, and aspirations for independence, freedom, and national unity of the entire nation under the leadership of the Party and the great President Ho Chi Minh.

Part two, "Vietnam - The Era of Innovation, Integration, and Development," reflects the tremendous and historically significant achievements of the country over 40 years of reform in all fields. The economy has developed rapidly, becoming a middle-income developing country. Significant progress has been made in the socio-cultural, education and training, and science and technology sectors, and the people's living standards have steadily improved. National defense and security have been maintained and strengthened, and social order and safety have been ensured. The Party's leadership role continues to be enhanced, and the people's trust in the Party and the socialist regime has been consolidated; international integration has become increasingly deep and comprehensive. Vietnam actively participates in resolving global issues, is a reputable and responsible member, and plays an active role in regional and international institutions.

Part three, "Vietnam - Aspiration for National Strength," emphasizes the epoch-making achievements of the era of independence and freedom, and the great, historically significant achievements of the era of reform and development, creating a solid foundation for Vietnam to enter a new era - the era of national progress. Ahead lie many opportunities and advantages, intertwined with difficulties and challenges. Under the leadership of the Party, all Vietnamese people, united in purpose and effort, will seize the most opportunities and advantages, overcome risks and challenges, and drive the country towards comprehensive, strong, breakthrough, and take-off development, aiming to build a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized, and happy Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Trong Lam, Director and Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, stated that, in order to contribute to the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, the book "Proud of Vietnam's Legacy" was published to introduce to readers a comprehensive and vivid picture of a strong and developing Vietnam with great achievements of historical significance over 80 years since the founding of the nation.

The book comprises 17 articles, with nearly 600 large-format pages, presented in a dignified manner, published in a bilingual Vietnamese-English edition, and includes a collection and selection of over 200 valuable documentary photographs, comprehensively covering the fields of economics, culture, society, Party building, and the political system.

At the ceremony, Central Committee member and Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Pham Tat Thang stated that the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, in coordination with the National Political Publishing House, organized the book launch ceremony for "Proud of Vietnam's Legacy." This is a concrete step in researching, studying, understanding, disseminating, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, and also demonstrates the dynamism and responsiveness of the National Political Publishing House in advising and organizing the task of editing, publishing, and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and raising the political awareness of cadres, Party members, and the people.

Comrade Pham Tat Thang affirmed that, in recent times, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the National Political Publishing House have built a close relationship in coordinating the compilation, editing, and publication of many theoretical and political books with profound theoretical and practical value, including the book "Proud of Vietnam's Foundation".

Given the increasingly demanding requirements of political and ideological work in the context of the country entering a new era of development, Comrade Pham Tat Thang emphasized that coordination between the two agencies needs to be further strengthened, promoted, and elevated to a new level. In particular, the immediate task is to continue organizing the compilation and publication of materials for disseminating and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party; the country's achievements over 40 years of reform; and publications serving major national holidays in 2026 and subsequent years...
