Da Lat: Proposal to extend the pilot operation period of double-decker convertible buses

(LĐ online) - The Department of Transport of Lam Dong province has just issued a document proposing to the Provincial People's Committee to allow Vietnam - Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company to extend the pilot operation period of open-top double-decker buses (convertibles) until December 31, 2025 or when the Road Law comes into effect.

In addition, the Department of Transport also proposed that the Provincial People's Committee allow the company to add 1 more double-decker open-top vehicle to operate on the Da Lat night sightseeing route according to the adjusted route as follows: Nguyen Van Cu Street - Tran Quoc Toan Street - turn right on Le Dai Hanh Street - turn right on Tran Phu Street - Administrative Center Roundabout back to Tran Phu Street - Tran Hung Dao Street - Hung Vuong Street - turn left on Tran Quy Cap Street - turn left on Quang Trung Street - Nguyen Trai Street - Yersin Street - Tran Quoc Toan Street - Nguyen Van Cu Street.

Previously, on December 16, 2022, in Da Lat City, Vietnam - Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company organized the "Launching Ceremony of the open-roof sightseeing car, City Sightseeing Da Lat brand" with the expectation of bringing many special experiences to people and tourists. In the first phase, the company will pilot 2 routes including: "Da Lat City Tour - City of Thousands of Flowers Route" with 7 stops and "Da Lat Night Sightseeing Route". This is a 37-seat open-roof car and 8 standing seats, fully equipped with journey monitoring and surveillance cameras according to the regulations of passenger transport vehicles.
