Many households are arbitrarily using sidewalks and public walkways to set up tables, chairs, and other items for selling soft drinks and snacks in the area at the foot of the Dragon Bridge, on the east bank of the Han River, along the west side of Tran Hung Dao Street (An Hai Ward, Da Nang City). This is especially true during peak hours and festival periods.

In response to this situation, the People's Committee of An Hai Ward has directed relevant authorities to inspect and decisively address the encroachment on sidewalks, roads, and public pathways for illegal business activities in the area at the foot of the Dragon Bridge, the east bank of the Han River, along the west side of Tran Hung Dao Street, and similar areas within the ward.
Simultaneously, send notifications to households engaged in trade in this area so that they are aware of the information, comply with the regulations, and this will serve as a basis for strict action if they intentionally violate or repeatedly violate the rules.
"The ward is determined to issue citations and strictly penalize cases of deliberate violations and repeat offenses after being informed, reminded, and having signed commitments. We will not allow the emergence of situations involving competition for business locations, soliciting customers, causing disruption to public order and urban security, environmental sanitation, and negatively impacting the local tourism image," An Hai ward emphasized.
The ward further shared that it continues to promote and encourage business households and residents to raise their awareness of complying with the law, practicing civilized commerce, and gradually transitioning to suitable occupations, contributing to building a civilized, clean, safe, and friendly urban environment.

The Dragon Bridge area on the east bank of the Han River is a popular tourist destination in Da Nang, especially on weekend evenings when the bridge breathes fire and sprays water. However, many vendors arbitrarily place tables and chairs, competing for business spots and negatively impacting the image of the destination.
