(To Quoc) - Kunming City, Yunnan Province, is the first destination in the series of activities of the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Festival in China, which will take place on November 5th at the Yunnan Theater.
The program is chaired by the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, in coordination with units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Vietnamese diplomatic missions in China; provincial Departments of Tourism, Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and airlines and tourism businesses. It aims to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China and the "Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year" in 2025 – a milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two neighboring countries with a long history and close cultural ties.

On November 4th, preparations for the activities within the framework of the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Festival in Kunming are being carried out urgently to ensure a dignified and harmonious atmosphere, bringing the colors of Vietnamese culture closer to the Chinese public.
In the main hall of the theater, there is an exhibition space showcasing 40 beautiful photographs of Vietnam's heritage, culture, and tourism, divided into four sections. Section 1: Vietnam - Land of wondrous heritage; Section 2: Vietnam - Paradise of world biosphere reserves; Section 3: Vietnam - Land of human memory; Section 4: Vietnam - Home of world intangible heritage.

The organizers are working urgently to set up the various sections of the photo exhibition space.


The highlight of the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Festival in Kunming is the art exchange program with the theme: "May we forever hold hands and keep our hearts true."

With familiar songs reflecting the diverse cultures of both countries, performed by artists using various traditional instruments, the event promises to evoke a wide range of emotions and leave a lasting impression on the audience. Even more special will be the performances of Vietnamese songs by Chinese artists and Chinese songs by Vietnamese artists.
Conductor Dong Quang Vinh will present to the audience many newly arranged songs such as: "Hello Vietnam", "The Muse of Hue", the song "A Heart That Doesn't Sleep"...
The Kunming City National Orchestra's performance of the Bắc Ninh Quan Họ folk song "Crossing the Bridge in the Wind" was conducted by conductor Tang Tranh.
Vietnamese and Chinese artists enthusiastically rehearsed together before the festival.
In addition, the main hall of the Yunnan Theater also hosted tourism promotion activities between tourism businesses of the two countries, contributing to strengthening destination connections, building tour packages, and leading to the signing of numerous cooperation agreements between the two sides.
