Highlights of the art program: Echoes of Me Linh

At the ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee, the government, and the people of Me Linh district, Chairman of the People's Committee Hoang Anh Tuan recalled the indomitable struggle of the Trung Sisters and heroes from all directions to drive out the Eastern Han army, bringing independence to the country.

“The Trung Sisters' uprising marked the first glorious milestone in the history of Vietnam's national defense. Immediately after the successful uprising, the two sisters proclaimed themselves queens, established a capital, and proceeded to consolidate and rebuild the country. The Trung Sisters became the first female rulers of the nation, the first female monarchs in the world , and are a source of pride for our nation,” Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized.

The lesson that the people are the foundation, and the strength of national unity, has been proven throughout the nation's history for nearly 2000 years and remains just as valuable today.

On February 15th, in addition to the processions and rituals at the festival according to local traditions, cultural and artistic activities, traditional folk games, and sports competitions were organized to serve the people and tourists attending the festival… Along with the commemoration of the 1984th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising and the opening of the Hai Ba Trung Temple Festival in the Spring of the Year of the Dragon 2024, a spectacular sound and light performance program using modern technology, titled “Echoes of Me Linh,” took place.

This is a semi-realistic art program, combining modern 3D mapping technology, organized for the first time in Me Linh district to commemorate and honor the merits of the two national heroines Trung Trac and Trung Nhi, along with the generals who participated in the uprising to regain national independence in the years 40-43 AD.

The theme "Echoes of Me Linh" connects the past, present, and future, evoking many associations and easily conveying various messages. It subtly, realistically, and effectively brings the audience closer to the historical data of the Trung Sisters era of the entire artistic program.

This spectacular art program, presented in a semi-realistic format combined with modern 3D LED matrix mapping technology, tells historical stories in a modern and innovative way, with successive acts and scenes subtly transformed by lighting effects, captivating music , and diverse forms of expression such as singing, circus acts, dancing, and drum ensemble performances.

The special art program focuses on cultural and historical elements, honoring the merits of the Trung Sisters, combining performances with the most modern technologies. Audiences will have unique experiences, placing them in the space of the Au Lac land during the early days of nation-building and defense.
