Venerable Thich Thien Phat shared: "Caring for, connecting with, and helping those in difficult circumstances is also an act of compassion according to Buddhist philosophy. As compassion expands over the years, we will feel that life is full of joy and happiness."

With a compassionate heart, the Venerable Monk constantly mobilizes and guides Buddhist followers of Thanh Duc Pagoda to join hands in carrying out charitable activities, giving love and sharing difficulties with the community, thereby spreading the compassionate spirit of Buddhism into life.

From heartwarming meals and free medical check-ups to dozens of voluntary blood donations, and gifts for the poor and disadvantaged students, he has promptly alleviated the hardships of life. Furthermore, the Venerable Monk has personally traveled to remote areas to perform charitable work.

For his charitable and humanitarian work, Venerable Thich Thien Phat is one of the individuals who received a Certificate of Commendation from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Long An province (formerly) for outstanding achievements in studying and following the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh , during the period 2021-2024.
