9th Congress of the Party Committee of the Department of Justice

On the morning of March 29th, in Ha Long City, the Party Committee of the Department of Justice held its 9th Congress for the 2025-2030 term. This is one of three units selected by the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to hold a pilot congress. Attending and directing the congress were Comrade Vu Van Dien, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; and Comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Over the past five years, the Party Committee of the Department of Justice has led and directed its subordinate Party branches and cadres and Party members to decisively implement tasks and solutions in a focused and targeted manner, creating positive and clear changes in various fields and successfully fulfilling annual political tasks.

Party building work continued to be implemented seriously, systematically, and innovatively, achieving many outstanding and more significant results than in the previous term. The Party committees, branch committees, and the cadres and Party members have united and overcome difficulties. As a result, 100% of the targets of the Resolution of the 8th Party Congress, term 2020-2025, have been achieved, with many targets exceeding expectations.

Comrade Vu Van Dien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee of the Department of Justice in the past term; affirming that these results have created confidence and an important foundation for the steady development of Quang Ninh's justice system in the next term.

Mr. Vu Van Dien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the Congress.

Emphasizing that the 2025-2030 term will face many difficulties and challenges, the comrade suggested that the Party Committee of the Department of Justice must continue to innovate, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, cadres, and Party members; overcome difficulties, and excellently complete the tasks set forth. The new Executive Committee needs to continue to innovate thinking, improve the capacity to draft legal documents; promptly research and advise the Provincial People's Committee on concretizing policies; build a culture of law compliance; strengthen discipline and order in professional activities as well as the role of legal aid in implementing social security policies. From there, build a strong Quang Ninh justice sector, meeting the requirements and tasks of justice work in the new period .

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee also requested that immediately after the Congress, the Party Committee of the Department should begin building and implementing the Action Program to carry out the Congress Resolution. Party building work should be closely linked to the fulfillment of the agency's political tasks.

Delegates cast their votes to elect the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Justice for the term 2025-2030.

The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Justice for the term 2025-2030 was introduced at the Congress.

The delegates voted to approve the Congress Resolution.

With the motto "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development," the Congress proceeded to elect and introduce the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Department of Justice, term IX, consisting of 7 members; directly elected the Party Secretary at the Congress; elected delegates to attend the Party Congress of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2025-2030 term; and adopted the Resolution of the 9th Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
