At the conference, Standing Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Van Chien announced Decision No. 1757/QD-TTg, dated December 31, 12 of the Prime Minister approving the Planning of Dak Nong province for the period 2023 - 2021, vision to 2030.
Accordingly, the Plan aims to maximize the province's potential, advantages and differences for rapid and sustainable development; Effectively exploit the advantage of the province's strategic location, which is the gateway connecting the Central Highlands with the Southeast region; Prioritize development drivers, especially transport infrastructure and irrigation infrastructure; Effective use of natural resources, especially mineral resources, associated with environmental protection and adaptation to climate change.
By 2030, the province strives to become a well-developed province of the Central Highlands with a synchronously invested transport infrastructure system; is an important gateway connecting trade between the Central Highlands and the Southeast region; is the national bauxite - alumina - aluminum industry center, the renewable energy center of the Central Highlands region.
With great potential in land and soil, Dak Nong orients to develop agriculture applying high technology, linking the market value chain; Developing resort and eco-tourism based on the advantages of landscape, climate, unique culture, Dak Nong UNESCO Global Geopark and Ta Dung lake - a place called "Ha Long Bay on the Highlands" ”.
The plan also envisions that by 2050, Dak Nong will become a developed province in the Central Highlands with synchronous, modern infrastructure and comprehensive economic, cultural, social, and environmental development, ensuring national security. room – security; build the province into the national aluminum and post-aluminum industry center; building high-tech agriculture, becoming the resort and ecological tourism center of the region...
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang affirmed that Dak Nong is a province with many potentials, strengths, and competitive advantages for development; At the same time, pay attention to the province about difficulties related to unusual weather developments under the impact of climate change, infrastructure that does not meet development requirements; The situation of poor households is still high; Staff qualifications are not uniform, especially officials working on ethnic affairs and ethnic minority officials...
To well implement the Dak Nong Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, and at the same time build the locality into a developed province on the basis of promoting existing potentials and advantages, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang requested that Dak Nong, in the process of implementing provincial planning, must thoroughly grasp the 4 principles of "compliance, flexibility, synchronization, understanding". The collective leadership of the province, leaders of sectors and localities must unite, stick together, share and do a good job of "setting an example".
