In preparation for the Vietnam Salt Festival - Bac Lieu 2025, Bac Lieu Power Company has developed plans to ensure a stable, safe, and continuous power supply throughout the festival.

ENSURE A SMOOTH AND SAFE POWER SUPPLY

The Vietnam Salt Craft Festival - Bac Lieu 2025 will take place from March 6-8 with many programs and activities. The main areas for the Festival's events are Bac Lieu City, Dong Hai District, and Hoa Binh District. In addition, there are tourist attractions and historical and cultural sites within the province. Therefore, the Bac Lieu Power Company is urgently implementing plans to ensure electricity supply.

Every year, ensuring electricity supply for political , cultural, and social activities and events, as well as serving the daily lives and production activities of the people, is a priority for Bac Lieu Power Company. This includes focusing on enhancing its role in ensuring a safe, stable, and reliable electricity supply.

Regarding the upcoming Vietnam Salt Craft Festival - Bac Lieu 2025, Mr. Tran Huu Khoa, Director of Bac Lieu Power Company, stated that to ensure sufficient electricity supply for the Festival, the company had developed a plan well in advance. Immediately after receiving Plan 206, dated December 25, 2024, from the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of tasks for organizing the first Vietnam Salt Craft Festival - Bac Lieu, the company proactively coordinated with the Festival organizers and relevant departments and agencies to survey the event venue and check the load to develop a plan for safe and stable electricity supply.

DEVELOPING A POWER SUPPLY PLAN FOR THE FESTIVAL

On February 21, 2025, Bac Lieu Power Company developed Plan 882 to ensure electricity supply for the Vietnam Salt Festival - Bac Lieu 2025. This plan includes implementing and directing its units to ensure that no power outages or interruptions occur at the locations where the Vietnam Salt Festival - Bac Lieu 2025 activities take place. It also involves arranging backup generators to ensure electricity supply for the event series, especially the main activities: the opening ceremony at Hung Vuong Square, the Bac Lieu Provincial Investment Promotion Conference, and the closing ceremony at the Provincial Cultural Center, in case of grid power failure. Furthermore, it emphasizes reviewing and inspecting backup equipment and materials to prepare for and be ready to handle any adverse situations. Additionally, it mandates increasing personnel in on-call departments and assigning repair and standby workers to be ready for deployment when needed.

Furthermore, the company has instructed its subordinate units to increase the frequency of power grid inspections to promptly detect and address any defects, ensuring that no subjective incidents occur that could affect the power supply plan for the Vietnam Salt Festival - Bac Lieu 2025. In particular, during the main days of the festival, Bac Lieu Power Company will deploy 100% of its personnel to be on duty at designated locations and command centers. Moreover, the company will strengthen inspection and rectification of existing issues on the operating power grid to ensure the system is always ready to serve the Festival. In addition, the company has proactively reviewed accommodation facilities to develop plans to ensure power supply during the Festival.
