The film revolves around the character Ly Van Buu - one of the "Tay Son Seven Tiger Generals", a loyal, upright and good fighter. From a strange dream in the middle of the night, he was caught up in a series of palace conspiracies: the king fell ill, powerful ministers manipulated the court, mysterious deaths occurred one after another. Between the line of loyalty to the king and loyalty to the country and love for family, Ly Van Buu had to use his intelligence, courage and bow to expose each layer of conspiracy.
The film opens a picture of historical drama mixed with detective elements, depicting the image of a lonely, proud hero in the midst of crazy times.
Tay Son That Ho Tuong - Ky Nam Archer Ly Van Buu has the participation of People's Artist Tran Nhuong, Meritorious Artist Manh Dung, Meritorious Artist Thanh Dau and young actors Thanh Ta, Bui Trung Thai, Truong Tran Kien, Giang Le, Minh Tra and a number of other famous actors and TikTokers.

Each character in the film is portrayed with their own destiny, but they all meet in loyalty, courage and patriotism. The first part of the film recreates the image of the Ky Nam warrior and archer Ly Van Buu - famous for his horse training ability and "hundred shots, hundred hits" archery skills. With a drama structure combined with investigation, the film promises to bring the audience a dramatic journey between loyalty and power.
Tay Son That Ho Tuong – Ky Nam Cung Thu Ly Van Buu directed by Vo Duc, is expected to start filming at the end of December and be released in June 2026.
