The Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee has always placed the task of caring for and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people as a central and ongoing priority in its leadership. The province's economic structure has gradually shifted towards a more rational direction, effectively exploiting and increasing the province's endogenous capacity. As a result, the province's economic growth rate has increased over the years.

In 2024, the gross provincial product (GDP) growth rate reached 9.04%, the highest growth rate in the last 10 years, ranking 12th out of 63 provinces and cities; 4th out of 14 provinces in the Northern Midlands and Mountains; budget revenue increased by more than 41% compared to 2023, achieving the target set by the 17th Provincial Party Congress Resolution one year ahead of schedule. The percentage of communes meeting the new rural standards reached over 70%.

The quality of socio-cultural aspects such as education and training, healthcare, employment, and poverty reduction has improved; social security has received attention and care. From 2021 to the present, the entire province has supported the repair and construction of houses for 7,067 households with a total mobilized fund of over 900 billion VND. The health insurance and social insurance coverage rate has reached 94.59%.

Many key projects have been implemented and put into use, creating momentum and unlocking the province's resources, such as the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway (phase 1) section through Tuyen Quang province; the road from My Lam hot spring tourist area to National Highway 2D connecting with the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway; the provincial general hospital; the specialized high school at a new location; the completion and commissioning of the urban development axis road from Tuyen Quang city to the center of Yen Son district; Bach Xa bridge (Ham Yen); Xuan Van bridge (Yen Son)...

The province has achieved the goal of asphalt and concrete paving for 100% of roads from district centers to commune centers, 80% of rural roads have been concreted, and 65% of field roads have been concreted. In addition, the entire province has invested in and is currently constructing 161 out of 200 bridges on rural roads, striving to complete the investment target of 200 bridges on rural roads for the 2021-2025 period by the end of 2025.

"Furthermore, the province's administrative reform is gradually focusing on serving the people and businesses. According to the results announced by the Ministry of Interior in mid-2024, Tuyen Quang province's administrative reform index ranked 16th out of 63 provinces and cities, an increase of 16 places compared to 2022. The competitiveness index and the index of people's satisfaction with the services of the provincial state administrative agencies all increased compared to 2022."

Under the creative and correct leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the socio-economic landscape of the Capital of the Liberation Zone, the Capital of the Resistance, has seen many breakthrough improvements, and the people's lives in all aspects have continuously improved.

Innovating leadership methods

In order to continuously enhance the capabilities, intellect, political qualities, ethics, and lifestyle, truly embodying "morality and civilization" to fulfill its noble mission before the people, throughout various periods, the Provincial Party Committee has constantly innovated and adopted creative approaches to contribute to building a clean and strong Party and political system.

2025 is a breakthrough year for achieving the goals set out in the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and for organizing the Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. Alongside the advantages and opportunities, there are also many difficulties and challenges as we enter this era of national progress, making the renewal of leadership methods and the enhancement of the Party's governing capacity urgent.

Party committees and organizations at all levels in the province continue to lead and promote the prevention and fight against waste, considering this a key task in rectifying the Party and the political system. At the same time, they are innovating the issuance of resolutions to ensure they are practical and feasible.

Personnel work involves the synchronized and decisive implementation of solutions, creating fundamental changes in building a team of cadres in the new period; effectively implementing mechanisms to encourage and protect cadres who dare to think, dare to act, dare to innovate, dare to take responsibility, and dare to confront difficulties and challenges for the common good.

Building on the achievements in mobilizing the people's strength and strengthening the close relationship between the Party and the people, the contingent of cadres and Party members effectively implements Regulation No. 144-QĐ/TW on the revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and Party members in the new period, and Regulation No. 08-QĐi/TW of the Central Committee of the Party on the responsibility of cadres and Party members to set an example; practicing a style of being close to the grassroots, matching words with actions, listening to and promptly resolving the legitimate concerns and aspirations of the people.

A new spring has arrived, bringing with it countless hopes as we are guided by the light of the Party. We are proud and confident that, under the wise and skillful leadership of the Party, the people of all ethnic groups in the Capital of the Liberation Zone, the Capital of the Resistance, will always be united, working together, making the most of opportunities and advantages, overcoming challenges and difficulties, and together with the country, achieve comprehensive development, breakthroughs, and take flight.
