Our Party has countless hearts filled with faith.

On February 3, 1930, in Kowloon (Hong Kong, China), under the chairmanship of Comrade Nguyen Ai Quoc, the conference to unify the three communist organizations in Vietnam took place, establishing the Communist Party of Vietnam. This historic event ended the crisis of ideology and organization of the Vietnamese revolution, opening a new era in our country's history - the era of struggle for national independence and advancement towards socialism.

Within just 15 years of its founding, our Party continuously developed and led the national liberation struggle, achieving victory in the August Revolution, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945, abolishing the semi-feudal colonial regime in Vietnam, and opening a new chapter in the nation's history. The Vietnamese people, from a state of slavery, became masters of their country, their society, and their own lives.

Immediately following the success of the August Revolution, our country simultaneously faced "the enemies of hunger, illiteracy, and foreign invasion." In that context, the Party led our people in resolutely defending and building the fledgling government, while actively preparing in all aspects for the resistance war against the French colonial invaders. With its correct policies and by harnessing the strength of the entire nation, the Party led our people to achieve the historic victory at Dien Bien Phu, forcing the French colonialists to sign the Geneva Accords (1954) on peace in Indochina.

More than twenty years later, our country was divided and without peace . Under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh, our people overcame countless hardships and sacrifices, carried out the great resistance war, defeated the war strategies of the US imperialists, completely liberated the South, and unified the country.

After the country was reunified, the Party continued to lead the entire army and people in striving to restore the socio-economic situation and improve the people's lives, while resolutely fighting to defend every inch of sacred land of the Fatherland, protecting independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

Faced with new demands in national development, our Party has formulated and implemented a comprehensive national reform policy, marking a crucial turning point on the path of transition to socialism in Vietnam. The reform policy demonstrates the unwavering resolve and creative thinking of the Communist Party of Vietnam and opens a new era for the country's development.

After 40 years of implementing reforms under the leadership of the Party, our country has overcome all difficulties and achieved great, historically significant accomplishments. From a country devastated by war, surrounded and isolated, Vietnam has now become a developing country with a middle income, deeply and broadly integrated into world politics, the global economy, and human civilization, and undertaking many important international responsibilities.

In particular, overcoming headwinds, GDP growth in 2025 is projected to reach 8.02%, averaging 6.3% over the period, placing Vietnam among the highest in the region and the world. The size of the economy will increase from US$346 billion (2020) to US$514 billion (2025), ranking 32nd globally; GDP per capita will exceed US$5,000, placing Vietnam in the group of upper-middle-income countries (completing one of the major milestones set by the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam). Maintaining a trade surplus for 10 consecutive years (over US$21 billion in 2025). Tourism will recover strongly, welcoming over 21.5 million international visitors in 2025. The state-owned enterprise sector will continue to play a key role; the private sector will clearly rise, becoming "the most important driving force of the national economy" as stated in Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo. FDI continues to be a bright spot, with $185 billion registered for the 2021-2025 period, and disbursements reaching $27.62 billion in 2025, the highest in 5 years. This reflects the confidence of international investors and also highlights the need to improve the quality and spillover effects of growth.

The strategic infrastructure system has made breakthrough progress; many large-scale, synchronized, and modern infrastructure projects in transportation, energy, logistics, services, healthcare, education, digital infrastructure, and urban infrastructure have been focused on, completed, and have high connectivity and spillover effects, creating new development spaces.

Social security policies have been implemented comprehensively and consistently with high spending (17% of total budget expenditure) to ensure "no one is left behind"; the goal of eliminating temporary housing has been achieved ahead of schedule, and social housing development has been strongly promoted (334,000 houses and social housing units, and over 100,000 apartments by 2025). The multidimensional poverty rate has decreased rapidly (to only 1.3%), affirming the State's consistent priority for people, especially vulnerable groups, and social justice. In education and healthcare, many long-term policies have been implemented, from waiving and supporting tuition fees for general education, building more schools, increasing investment in education in disadvantaged and border areas, to strengthening the healthcare system, addressing long-standing issues while preparing the foundation for improving the quality of comprehensive healthcare for the people. Environmental protection, resource management, and adaptation to climate change are also given importance. In the face of increasingly extreme natural disasters, unified direction from the central to local levels, along with the mobilization of both state budget and social resources, has helped minimize damage, quickly stabilize lives, and restore production, clearly demonstrating the constructive role, responsibility, and humanity of the State and the Government.

The great achievements of the Vietnamese revolution stem from many factors, among which the correct and wise leadership of the Party is the leading decisive factor, along with the unity of the entire people and army. Through the process of leading the revolution, our Party has been tempered and has become increasingly mature and strong, worthy of its role and mission in leading the revolution and the trust and expectations of the people. This reality has affirmed that in Vietnam, there is no other political force besides the Communist Party of Vietnam that has the capacity, courage, wisdom, experience, and prestige to lead the country through all difficulties and challenges, leading the revolutionary cause of our nation from one victory to another.
