English exam for 10th grade
Suggested answers for the 10th grade English entrance exam in Ho Chi Minh City, prepared by the HOCMAI team of teachers:
Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, a teacher at the HOCMAI Education system, noted that the structure of the 10th-grade English exam in Ho Chi Minh City remains unchanged compared to previous years. 65% of the questions are at the knowledge-comprehension level, and 35% are at the application-higher application level.
The exam is designed with highly practical questions, good distractors between options, and question types that require candidates to thoroughly understand the essence of the knowledge and the entire content of the reading passage in order to answer them well. The most challenging questions are those requiring candidates to choose the correct form of a word, writing, and reading comprehension.
Based on this exam, Ms. Thu predicts that the most common score will be around 6-6.5 points.
