Spreading the pioneering spirit of youth.
Taking place from May to the end of August 2026, the 2026 National Target Program focuses on border communes, remote and disadvantaged areas, and localities building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.
According to Ms. Ho Thi Thuy Trang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Provincial Children's Council, and Commander of the Youth Volunteer Campaign in Tay Ninh province, this year's campaign is themed "Innovating the working methods of the Youth Union," and includes the Exam Support Program and four key campaigns: Green Summer, Red Phoenix Flower, Green March, and Pink Holiday. The campaign attracts a large number of Youth Union members, including students, members of the armed forces, officials, civil servants, and young people throughout the province.

A key new feature of the campaign is the increased application of digital technology and digital transformation in volunteer activities and youth group management, while also fostering a spirit of dedication and initiative among young people for the community, encouraging youth to start businesses and contribute to local socio -economic development.
From the very beginning of the campaign, many meaningful projects and activities were implemented with a total resource of over 6 billion VND. These included 7 model roads, 2 solar-powered streetlights combined with national flag displays, 2 computer labs for children, 100 tons of cement for rural development, the construction of 4 houses for people facing housing difficulties, along with hundreds of scholarships, thousands of notebooks, school bags, national flags, and many other social welfare programs.
In addition, the Provincial Youth Union also donated 4,000 trees to localities to contribute to environmental protection and the creation of a green, clean, and beautiful landscape. Notably, the "Supporting Students During Exams 2026" program was implemented comprehensively with 6,000 gifts and 6 youth projects to support students participating in the 10th grade entrance exam and the 2026 high school graduation exam.
Small actions, big impact.
The spirit of volunteerism is not only demonstrated through large-scale projects but also spreads through practical actions at the grassroots level. In An Ninh commune, youth union members actively participate in planting trees, cleaning the environment, and beautifying rural roads. Under the early summer sun, each person has their own task, but all share the common goal of contributing to building a more beautiful and clean homeland.
Nguyen Thanh Thien Nha, Secretary of the Youth Union of the An Ninh Commune Military Unit, shared that over the years, he has participated in many activities such as the Green Summer program, supporting students during exams, and planting trees to commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth. These activities have helped young people develop a sense of responsibility and contribute their youthful energy to the development of the locality.
Alongside activities related to building new rural areas, the youth of Tay Ninh are also actively implementing social welfare programs. In An Ninh commune, a program providing free medical examinations, health consultations, and medicine distribution, as well as gifts for 200 people, and gifts for disadvantaged students and those involved in maintaining security and order at the grassroots level, was organized with a total resource of over 115 million VND.

For many people, especially the elderly and those in difficult circumstances, this activity is of practical significance. Ms. Pham Thi Gio (residing in Hoa Hiep 1 hamlet, An Ninh commune) said that for many years her eyesight has been blurry but she has not had the opportunity to see a doctor. By participating in the program, she not only received medical examinations and health advice but also received legal education, medicine, and support gifts, thereby feeling the care of the Youth Union and the local government.

From the construction of youth-led roads and the planting of green trees to activities caring for the people and children, the 2026 Youth Volunteer Campaign continues to affirm the pioneering role of young people in participating in socio-economic development.
Each project and task not only brings practical value to the community but also contributes to nurturing beautiful ideals, a sense of responsibility, and a desire to contribute among the younger generation, so that the green volunteer uniform continues to shine brightly on the journey of building our homeland.
