On June 20, the leader of the Economic Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police, said that the Inspectorate of the Department of Justice has issued a decision to cancel the decision to sanction administrative violations against Quang Da MT Joint Stock Company (461-463 Nguyen Huu Tho, Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City).
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Nam Province is completing the documents and procedures to prosecute the accused according to the provisions of law.

Previously, on October 18, 2024, Hoa Thuan Joint Stock Auction Company (a unit hired by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dien Ban town to conduct the auction) organized an auction of the right to exploit sand minerals as common construction materials at the mine marked DB2B (Dien Tho commune, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province) with an area of 6.04 hectares, with an estimated resource of 159,000 cubic meters of sand.
The starting price was over 1.2 billion VND. After 200 rounds of bidding, MT Quang Da Joint Stock Company was the unit that paid the highest price with the winning bid of over 370 billion VND.
On December 25, 2024, the Chief Inspector of the Department of Justice of Quang Nam province issued a decision to fine MT Quang Da Joint Stock Company 17 million VND for administrative violations of "providing false information and documents to register for auction participation and participate in the auction".
On January 7, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hieu, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Ban town (Quang Nam province) signed a decision to cancel the results of the auction of mineral exploitation rights for the DB2B mine.
Through the investigation process, recently, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Nam Province Police has prosecuted the case of "Violating regulations on property auction activities" according to Clause 1, Article 218 of the Penal Code, which occurred during the auction of mineral exploitation rights at the DB2B mine.
The investigation agency determined that MT Quang Da Joint Stock Company violated auction regulations, causing serious damage to the State as well as affecting the interests of related organizations and individuals.
Therefore, the Investigation Police Agency requested the Chief Inspector of the Department of Justice of Quang Nam province to cancel the previously issued decision on administrative sanctions.
