(QNO) - According to Ms. Dang Thi Le Thuy - President of the Women's Union of Quang Nam province, as of May 31, 2025, the total outstanding loan balance from the Bank for Social Policies of Quang Nam province managed by the Women's Union at all levels of the province is 1,311 savings and loan groups (TK&VV), outstanding loan balance reached 3,777 billion VND (accounting for 40.2% of outstanding loan balance), an increase of more than 130.5 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year, with 56,118 customers still having outstanding loans. Some units have outstanding loans and growth rates such as Nam Giang, Phuoc Son, Hoi An, Thang Binh...

According to the report of the Provincial Women's Union, the mobilized savings balance reached more than 177.1 billion VND; the savings balance/debt balance ratio reached 5.25%. Inspection and supervision work at all levels of the union was strictly carried out. The inspection of localities and units with entrusted debt balance was focused on.

At the provincial level, 17/17 district-level Women's Unions, 34 commune-level localities, 113 savings and credit groups and 180 borrowing households were inspected, achieving 100% of the annual plan. At the district level, 229/229 commune-level Women's Unions, 649 savings and credit groups and 3,839 borrowing households were inspected, achieving 100% of the annual plan. At the commune level, 1,311 groups with outstanding entrusted loans were inspected, achieving 100% and 54,766 borrowing households were inspected.

According to the Women's Union of Quang Nam province, through inspection, overdue debt in some localities is still at a high level. Some localities have high overdue debt such as Tam Ky (170 million VND, rate 0.09%), Nam Tra My (75 million, rate 0.09%), Tien Phuoc (186 million VND, rate 0.08%), Phu Ninh (192 million VND, rate 0.1%), Dai Loc (125 million VND, rate 0.06%).

Through inspection, many mountainous localities have not guaranteed monthly savings participation rate, while in the plain districts, the monthly savings participation rate is higher. Mountainous districts with low savings deposit balance ratio include Nam Tra My, Tay Giang, Dong Giang, Nam Giang...
