According to The Sun , Onana recently purchased a £3.5 million villa in the Altrincham area of Hale Barns, Greater Manchester. The villa boasts four bedrooms and is fully equipped with amenities including a cinema, gym, basketball court, and tennis court. In addition, Onana has created a relaxing space by the heated pool where friends and family can gather.
Before deciding to buy this house, Onana lived in Manchester and adapted to the climate there. This shows that the former Inter Milan star wants to build a long-term life in Manchester.
According to the Daily Mail , despite his inconsistent form this season, Onana could still remain with Manchester United. With a limited summer transfer budget, manager Ruben Amorim prioritizes spending on other positions, with the most urgent need being a striker, followed by a center-back, a left-back, and one or two midfielders. These positions are all ranked higher than goalkeeper on the list of necessary additions.
Previously, MU were reportedly willing to sell Onana if they received an offer above £20 million, significantly lower than the £43.8 million they paid to sign him in the summer of 2023. However, not many clubs were interested in Onana.
Despite offers from several clubs in Saudi Arabia, Onana wants to stay at MU to compete for a place and prove his worth. According to internal sources, the 29-year-old goalkeeper hopes to have a long-term future with the "Red Devils".
