According to The Sun , Onana has just bought a £3.5 million mansion in the Altrincham area of Hale Barns, Greater Manchester. The four-bedroom mansion is fully equipped with facilities including a cinema, gym, basketball court and tennis court. In addition, Onana also created a relaxing space by the heated pool where friends and family can gather.
Before deciding to buy this house, Onana lived in Manchester and adapted to the climate in this area. This shows that the former Inter Milan star wants to build a long-term life in Manchester.
According to the Daily Mail , despite his inconsistent form this season, Onana could still continue to stay with MU. With a limited summer transfer budget, coach Ruben Amorim prioritizes spending on other positions, the most urgent of which is the center forward, followed by the center back, left back, and one or two midfielders. These positions are all ranked higher than the goalkeeper on the list of positions that need to be added.
Previously, MU was said to be willing to sell Onana if they received an offer of over £20 million, much lower than the £43.8 million fee they spent to recruit him in the summer of 2023. However, not many clubs want Onana.
Despite several clubs in Saudi Arabia making offers, Onana still wants to stay at MU to compete for a position and prove his worth. According to inside sources, the 29-year-old goalkeeper hopes to stay with the "Red Devils" for a long time.
