Local efforts
In Nui Thanh commune, the rapid increase in total social development investment over the past period has helped the locality upgrade its technical infrastructure, creating quite comprehensive changes. The administrative, educational , and medical infrastructure systems have been invested in and upgraded; the drainage system, clean water supply, squares, parks, green spaces, sports arenas, performance halls, etc., have been built and upgraded to meet the living needs of the people.
The power grid system has been invested and completed. Up to now, 100% of households have access to electricity and 100% of main roads in residential areas have lighting.
Many urban, district, and commune roads, as well as rural roads, have been expanded and newly constructed to ensure smooth traffic flow. In particular, many large-scale projects have been invested in and built by the central government, the province, and businesses, such as industrial park infrastructure, Vo Chi Cong road, Truong Hai port, and Chu Lai airport.
Many residential areas have been built with synchronous technical infrastructure, contributing to accelerating the urbanization and rural development process in the area. Mr. Hoang Chau Son, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nui Thanh Commune, said: "The locality continues to mobilize resources to invest and complete infrastructure for urban development, new rural construction, economic development and serving people's needs."
In Thang Dien commune, taking advantage of mobilizing resources and contributions from the people, the government has built synchronous technical and social infrastructure to serve local socio-economic development.
Mr. To Van Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Da Nang City People's Committee, said that Thang Dien commune is quite favorable for developing key economic sectors such as processing industry, high-quality agriculture , cultural, historical and ecological tourism. In addition, small-scale industries, services and trade in the central areas of the commune have also been given momentum to develop.
To promote economic development, continue to create jobs, and increase income for the people, the commune government needs to focus on the work of making a general plan for the commune. Along with detailed planning of key, dynamic projects, the locality needs to soon invest in synchronous technical infrastructure.
Thang Dien Commune needs to closely coordinate with the city's departments and branches to effectively implement technical infrastructure development work, propose important technical infrastructure projects on transportation, electricity, clean water and essential public works serving people's lives.
Localities need to proactively coordinate with telecommunications businesses to improve the quality of internet connection, creating a foundation for digital government, digital economy and digital society, ensuring 100% of villages and residential areas are covered by 4G/5G.

On August 28, Truong Hai Group Corporation (THACO) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Chu Lai Truong Hai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park expansion. The project not only marks a new step forward in THACO's strategy to develop the mechanical engineering and supporting industries, but also demonstrates its aspiration to rise up and contribute to the country's socio-economic development.

Because in the context of reshaping the global supply chain, Vietnam's mechanical and supporting industries have many opportunities to affirm their role in the world production network.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tue, Deputy General Director of THACO, said that with its strategic vision, THACO has built a solid foundation in the field of mechanical engineering and supporting industries, forming a large-scale, regionally-oriented specialized industrial park for concentrated production, operated by THACO INDUSTRIES Group.
Many products from THACO INDUSTRIES have been exported to more than 20 countries, affirming its position in the international market. According to Mr. Tue, THACO invested in building the expanded Chu Lai Truong Hai Automotive Mechanical Industrial Park to connect mechanical products, components and spare parts, creating automated equipment, intelligent control systems, and high-tech products.
The industrial park is planned on an area of 115 hectares, with a total investment of nearly 8,000 billion VND invested in a new generation industrial park model, green development, automation, smart, modern, integrating digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI).
The investment portfolio includes new-generation spare parts factories producing electronic circuit boards, components, electrical and smart electronic equipment; factories manufacturing and assembling mechanical-electronic and automation equipment, 3D printing equipment, new-generation CNC equipment, light civil aircraft, drones, fast charging stations for electric vehicles, etc.
All activities at the center are carried out in a closed process. THACO will continue to develop a highly qualified and specialized workforce to produce technologically breakthrough products and participate deeply in the global supply chain.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the Chu Lai Truong Hai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park expansion contributes to completing the value chain of mechanical manufacturing and supporting industries of THACO. The expanded mechanical center will produce high-tech products and use some output products of Da Nang High-Tech Park.
This creates an integrated and complementary ecosystem, contributing to making Da Nang one of the country's high-tech and supporting industry centers, boosting the local economy, attracting investment, creating more jobs for people, and contributing to Vietnam's infrastructure development and mechanical engineering industry strategy.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Thai Binh said that Chu Lai Open Economic Zone has affirmed its position as the growth pole of industry - services - logistics in the Central region with the THACO complex as the core to form an ecosystem of automobile assembly, mechanical engineering, components, seaports, logistics and support services.
THACO's Chu Lai Truong Hai Automobile Mechanical Industrial Park expansion continues to complete its infrastructure, attracting manufacturing and business enterprises, connecting to the global value chain.
To ensure the project meets progress and quality, THACO focuses resources and organizes project construction effectively and safely, while strictly implementing land and environmental regulations.
