In Ben Tre province, the Provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC) reported that from the beginning of 2025 to date, there have been 376 cases of dengue fever, a 4.3-fold increase compared to the same period in 2024 (88 cases), with the highest concentration in Ben Tre City. In addition, the province also recorded 268 cases of measles and 261 cases of hand, foot, and mouth disease.
The Ben Tre CDC warns of the risk of disease outbreaks during the rainy season and advises people to proactively get vaccinated and cooperate in eliminating mosquito larvae and promptly handling outbreaks.
