According to the exam schedule, on the morning of June 11th, candidates will take the Literature exam, with a time limit of 120 minutes; the exam papers will be distributed to candidates at 7:30 AM, and the exam will begin at 7:35 AM.

In Hanoi , from early morning, many parents brought their children to the examination centers. The areas in front of the examination centers were quite orderly, with law enforcement, volunteer youth, and officials on duty guiding candidates into the examination area, assisting with traffic flow, and reminding parents to park in designated areas.
At the exam center at Tran Duy Hung Secondary School, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thai said that both her family and daughter were quite relaxed entering the exam. Her daughter aspires to apply to the University of Industrial Fine Arts, which includes drawing as an aptitude test, so the results of the High School Graduation Exam are not a major source of pressure.

According to Ms. Thai, before the exam day, the family mainly reminded their child to prepare all necessary documents and supplies, eat and rest properly, and arrive at the exam venue on time. Instead of creating more pressure, the family wanted their child to enter the exam room with a calm and confident mindset.
Outside the gate of Tran Nhan Tong High School, Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong, the parent of a student from Vinschool Times City, said that her family did not put too much pressure on her child for this year's high school graduation exam.
According to Ms. Huong, her child is aiming for a career in economics and finance and had planned the application process quite early. Besides the high school graduation exam, her child also participated in other admission methods and has an IELTS certificate with a relatively good score.
"Thanks to this, the family feels more at ease because our child has more opportunities to choose a suitable university. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed and encourage our child to focus on the exam instead of putting pressure on them about grades," Ms. Huong shared.

At the exam center at Yen Lang Secondary School, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, the parent of candidate Nguyen Hien Anh, a student in class 12A5 of Dong Da High School, said he was quite confident about his daughter's ability in Literature, but still couldn't help feeling nervous and anxious during the first exam.
"Seeing my daughter skipping out of the school gate with a cheerful expression, I breathed a sigh of relief. I hoped she would continue to maintain a positive attitude to pass the remaining exams," Mr. Tuan shared.
Nguyen Hien Anh said that the Literature exam was longer than she expected, highly selective but not difficult. Before entering the exam room, she was quite nervous, but after carefully reading the questions and calmly working on the exam, she completed it well. Hien Anh expects to score above 9 points in Literature. She also shared that she will maintain a confident and relaxed mindset to achieve good results in the other subjects of the exam.

Leaving the exam room at Tran Duy Hung Secondary School, candidate Vu Dieu Linh said that Literature was her strong subject, so she entered the exam feeling quite confident. According to the female student, this year's exam was quite manageable, not too difficult because the questions were all based on general knowledge and close to real life.
“I think I can score above 8 points. I was impressed with question 3 in the reading comprehension section and question 1 in the writing section. The question asking for an explanation of the meaning of a phrase was quite rare in the tests I’ve taken before, so I was a little surprised at first,” Diệu Linh shared.
According to Dieu Linh, the social commentary question about how to create "Vietnamese Steve Jobs" has a rather unusual wording and might be difficult for some students who are not familiar with the concepts of technology, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
However, for candidates with a basic understanding of social studies, this question still offers many avenues for further discussion. "I finished the test and had about 5 minutes left to review," the female student said.

After completing the Literature exam, Nguyen Khanh Linh, a student from Viet Duc High School, said she was still quite nervous leaving the exam room. Although she assessed her performance as relatively good, the female student was not completely at ease because this exam is of significant importance to her future academic journey.
Following the exam, most candidates felt that this year's Literature exam was of moderate difficulty, with the topics not being too unfamiliar. However, the exam was quite long, requiring candidates to allocate their time wisely to complete the reading comprehension, social commentary, and literary analysis sections.
This year's Literature exam consists of two parts: reading comprehension and writing. The reading comprehension section uses text about Gutenberg's invention of the printing press, the spread of knowledge, and poses the issue in the context of artificial intelligence. Based on this text, the exam requires candidates to answer questions about the content of the text, the meaning of certain phrases, and to consider how artificial intelligence can be used to create "intellectual resonance."
In the writing section, the social commentary question asks candidates to express their thoughts on the issue: "How can we have Vietnamese Steve Jobs?". This is an open-ended question, linked to the aspiration for creativity, self-learning ability, a nurturing environment for talent, a daring and proactive spirit, and the responsibility of young people in the era of science and technology.

This question sparked interest among many candidates because it closely related to technology, startups, innovation, and the role of the younger generation.
However, to do well, candidates cannot simply write generally about their dreams or personal successes. The essay needs to highlight the conditions that foster creative individuals, from educational background and an environment that encourages diversity, to self-learning abilities, technological proficiency, and a spirit of dedication.
The literary essay question requires candidates to analyze the poem "The Leaves" by Nguyen Dinh Thi. This section continues the literary nature of the exam, demanding that candidates perceive the imagery of the leaves, the cool evening atmosphere, the rhythm of everyday life, and the subtle emotions in the poem.
Judging from the structure of the exam, this year's Literature exam did not trick candidates; the questions were arranged from recognition to application. The reading comprehension and social commentary sections were topical and relevant to life, providing opportunities for candidates to demonstrate their understanding of knowledge, technology, AI, innovation, and the role of the younger generation.
However, the exam still differentiates candidates based on their reasoning skills, practical application, and expressive abilities. Candidates with a solid understanding of exam-taking techniques can achieve a good score, but to achieve a high score, they need to develop their ideas in depth, provide appropriate evidence, and avoid formulaic writing.
This afternoon, June 11th, candidates will continue taking the Mathematics exam, with a time limit of 90 minutes; the exam papers will be distributed at 2:20 PM, and the exam will begin at 2:30 PM.
