The Registry Department has selected 76 options representing 96 vehicle registration centers as the basis for making a proposal to the Ministry of Transport and Finance for consideration and adjustment of inspection service prices.
The estimated price list for inspection services is developed by the Registry Department and submitted to the Ministry of Transport and Finance.
The Vietnam Register has just submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Transport and Finance on the proposal to adjust the service charge rates for technical safety and environmental protection inspection services for motor vehicles in circulation.
Accordingly, in order to remove difficulties for registration units and maintain stable operation of the motor vehicle registration system, the Registry Department has issued a document guiding the units to prepare price plans and send them to the Department.
As of May 19, the Registry Department has received 5 price options from 101 vehicle registration centers. Through the review, the Registry has eliminated 122 options for declaring costs that are too high compared to the previous year, but there are no detailed explanations or the expected profit rate is high (25%).
On this basis, the Registry Department has selected 76 options representing 96 vehicle registration centers as the basis for making a proposal to inter-Ministry of Transport and Finance for consideration and adjustment of inspection service prices.
Specifically, the average price plan is based on the determination of the output, the total cost of the inspection activities of the system of registration units, and at the same time determines the provisional profit of 10% on the cost and the VAT rate of 10% on the basis of the cost plus the expected profit to determine the inspection service price for cars with less than 10 seats to convert the inspection price between groups of vehicles.
In addition, the Registry Department proposes to supplement the vehicle registration fee for vehicles exempt from first inspection of 50.000 VND.
In case of re-printing of inspection stamps and inspection certificates, in case the vehicle owner loses stamps and inspection certificates or applies for re-sale (after applying for a break from circulation), the fee shall be equal to 50% of the vehicle registration fee.
