In particular, the arrangements and payment of allowances for the service staff during the Lunar New Year holiday have been meticulously planned, ensuring the hotel continues to operate as usual during the holiday.
Similarly, Lam Giang Hotel (Vinh City) has also completed preparations to serve guests during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Dragon 2024. For several days prior, the hotel management reviewed, improved, and upgraded the entire infrastructure; checked the security system and fire prevention and control measures.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Quan, Deputy Director of the hotel, said: “Our hotel has 120 rooms and many dining rooms to serve the needs of tourists. According to the director of this tourist area, Mr. Dang Trong Tan, in order to serve visitors during the Lunar New Year, a few days ago, the facility renovated the landscape, upgraded the rooms, and made plans to ensure a sufficient food supply for tourists.
Along with hotels and guesthouses, homestays in community-based tourism destinations in the western districts are also a popular choice for tourists during the Lunar New Year. Therefore, homestay owners in the districts of Con Cuong, Quy Chau, Que Phong, Tuong Duong, and Ky Son have completed their preparations to meet the needs of tourists.
Mr. Lu Thanh Long, owner of a homestay in the Muong Dan tourist area, Que Phong district, said: “Currently, several groups of tourists have contacted us to experience the area during the Lunar New Year. To provide attentive service, we have renovated some facilities and prepared specialty dishes of the highland people, meeting the needs of tourists during the New Year celebrations.”
In Nghe An province, there are currently over 400 accommodation establishments (excluding homestays), including 3 five-star establishments, 11 four-star establishments, and more than 20 three-star establishments. Most of these establishments are open to guests during the Lunar New Year holiday. To date, all necessary facilities, personnel, and food supplies have been fully prepared and are ready to meet the accommodation and dining needs of tourists.
