Hoa Sen University's benchmark score in 2025 ranges from 15 to 17 points based on high school graduation exam scores, with the highest being Sports Economics and Financial Technology.

On the afternoon of August 22, the Admissions Council of Hoa Sen University (HSU) announced the admission scores for 31 regular university training majors based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores and 4 early admission methods including: considering high school transcripts, Competency Assessment (AAP) scores, interviews and direct admission.

Specifically, in the 2025 high school graduation exam score review method, the school takes the standard score from 15 - 17. In the transcript review method and interview method, the school takes the score ranging from 18 - 19.45.

For the method of considering the ability assessment test scores, the school takes 600 - 652 points. Finally, the direct admission method takes 18 points.

In 2025, the number of candidates and registration wishes both increased sharply. Nationwide, there were more than 7.6 million registered wishes, accounting for more than 73% of the total number of candidates. On average, each candidate registered nearly 9 wishes. The number of candidates registering for admission also skyrocketed by more than 115,000 compared to 2024, partly due to vocational colleges participating in the common admission system.

The benchmark score is more difficult to predict than previous years, which is the general opinion of many universities in this year's virtual filtering process, due to major changes in the way it is organized and implemented.
