The Wedding Symphony 2025 event, recently held in Ho Chi Minh City, became a significant highlight, presenting the Vietnam Wedding Awards, a specialized award honoring outstanding individuals and organizations in the Vietnamese wedding industry. This event not only brought together wedding organizers, hotels, and service brands, but also clearly reflected the strong transformation of a promising industry.
Over the past 3-5 years, the high-end wedding market in Vietnam has seen significant growth. Changes in consumer mindset and the younger generation's desire to express their individuality and personal style have created a large enough market for event organizers, hotels, and wedding service brands to upgrade their products and services. This market is expanding beyond Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to other tourist destinations such as Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and Sa Pa.

At the Vietnam Wedding Awards 2025, many speakers shared the view that three key trends will shape Vietnam's high-end wedding industry in the coming period: personalization, sustainability, and multi-sensory experiences.
Clients desire weddings that reflect their personal style. Wedding planners and hotels are investing more in bespoke services, from decorations to guest experiences.
Brides and grooms are increasingly interested in green elements, from choosing venues and using local materials to minimizing plastic and designing eco-friendly spaces. Mia Saigon is one of the few LEED-certified hotels, incorporating sustainability criteria into every detail of its wedding celebrations.

Not only serving domestic customers, Vietnam's high-end wedding market is gradually becoming a choice for international couples. The advantages lie in its diverse natural landscapes, from islands to mountains and forests, the strong development of the resort tourism industry, and especially its political stability.
In fact, Vietnam has hosted numerous lavish weddings of the international super-rich. In 2019, an Indian couple held their wedding with nearly 700 guests at JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, contributing to the resort's consecutive wins of the "World's Leading Luxury Wedding Resort" award.

For example, the wedding of an Indian billionaire at Vinpearl Resort & Spa Ha Long in February 2025. The lavish ceremony featured fireworks, fire, water, and light effects, held at a 5-star resort, with the entire resort and private jet chartered for guests. Another example is the "Chinese Zodiac-themed" wedding in Da Nang in 2024 for a Vietnamese-American couple, a celebration blending Chinese and Vietnamese culture at the Intercontinental Danang, showcasing personal touches through meticulous design, traditional activities, and attention to detail.
To date, Phu Quoc and Da Nang continue to be the choice of many wealthy families from India and the Middle East, with a series of high-end resorts becoming destinations for "mega wedding parties" with hundreds of guests.
"Vietnam has the full potential to become a leading wedding destination in the region, with its combination of pristine landscapes, unique culture, hospitality, and increasingly sophisticated services," a representative from a luxury hotel in Ho Chi Minh City stated.
