The admission score of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law based on high school graduation exam scores ranges from 18.12 to 25.65 points.

On the evening of August 22, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law announced the admission scores for 2025. The admission scores for each major are as follows:

The admission score for the above majors is for candidates in region 3. The difference in score between two groups of subjects is 1.0 (one) point, between two adjacent regions is 0.25 point. Priority points are calculated according to the formula: Priority points = [(30 - Total points achieved)/7.5] × Priority points that candidates are entitled to according to the regulations of the admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .

Currently, the school has not conducted faculty review to manage students for candidates admitted to the law major.

After candidates confirm online admission on the Ministry of Education and Training's system and register to choose a faculty via the school's link, based on the training capacity of each faculty, wishes and number of officially enrolled candidates, the school will announce the results of admission to each faculty, before candidates officially enroll.

Before 5:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025, candidates must confirm their admission online. Candidates who do not confirm their admission within this time limit without a valid reason will be considered as refusing to enroll and the school has the right to refuse to complete the admission procedures and not accept them to study.
