Also on the morning of May 22nd, Dr. Dang Ngoc Thuyet reported that pregnant woman TNX (31 years old, residing in U Minh Thuong commune, An Giang province) and her baby had been discharged from the hospital in good health and returned home to reunite with their family. Earlier, in the early afternoon of May 16th, TNX was bitten by a cobra at home while 38 weeks pregnant. After initial first aid, her family took her to a local medical facility, and her final destination was Military Hospital 121. Upon receiving the patient at 9 PM that same day, the doctors at Military Hospital 121 immediately began a fierce race against time to save the lives of both mother and child.
