Major Pham Trung Hau, Deputy Chief of Vinh Tuong Commune Police, informed that the commune is adjacent to 5 other localities inside and outside the district, so in the past, the security situation was quite complicated, especially gambling and theft. Faced with the above situation, for nearly a year, the Commune Police have strengthened coordination with departments, agencies and mass organizations at the same level to organize many repelling activities.
First, the commune established a model of "security cameras" with 11 eyes, in 5 hamlets, placed on roads with many people passing, especially where there is a relatively complicated security situation to record images of all kinds. crime (if any), about order, traffic safety ... to extract processing when necessary.
Before its establishment, the commune held a meeting with the people to clarify the meaning and purpose of the model, and at the same time exchanged ideas to create consensus among the people. As a result, 11 cameras were all contributed by people in the area, with a total value of 75 million VND.
After its establishment, departments, branches and mass organizations regularly propagate among officials, union members, members and the people about the mode of operation; people need to comply well with the provisions of the law, boldly participate in denouncing and arresting criminals; for households to sign commitments not to break the law…
Mr. Nguyen Van Tam, in Vinh Phu hamlet, understands the effect since the locality installed cameras in the area. According to Mr. Tam, when the camera was not installed, many teenagers gathered at night in the hamlet, driving their cars around, driving their cars, squealing, etc., but now there are no more. In addition to the model of "Security Camera", the commune also established a model of "Fire prevention and fighting safety joint group", with 5 members having adjacent houses combined with trading, in Vinh Phu hamlet.
All households participating in this model have installed a fire alarm at home; 1 fire alarm button in suitable position. The push button and the fire alarm of the families in the nest are linked together. When a fire or explosion occurs, just one family presses the button and all the bells of other families ring together, thereby promptly mobilizing forces to quickly extinguish the fire.
Right after the launch, the team members propagated, popularized and reminded each other to contribute funds to well implement regulations on fire prevention and fighting; prepare an escape plan; buy fire extinguishers, hammers, alkalis, fire safety manuals, fire fighting...
The model of "Fire prevention and fighting safety team" put into operation also linked the spirit of solidarity among the people.
In addition, the Commune Police also restored the model of "Zalo for crime prevention and control", with the connection of departments, agencies, mass organizations at the same level and secretaries of cell branches and village heads in the area to regularly update information. information on the methods and tricks of each type of crime on the group, thereby propagating to the people to be vigilant in preventing and participating in crime denunciations. Thanks to good propaganda, crime prevention and fighting, nearly a year ago, the number of law violation cases in the area decreased. From the beginning of the year to now, the commune has not detected any crime of social order, down 1 cases compared to the same period last year; drug-related crimes do not occur; gambling crime did not occur, reducing 2 cases over the same period; Traffic accidents don't happen…
