On the afternoon of December 26th, a press conference was held at the Metropole Hotel ( Hanoi ) to launch the Miss Vietnam 2024 competition. The distinguishing feature of this year's competition is that it has three coordinating bodies: the Central Youth Union, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Ministry of Education and Training. The organizing units are Tien Phong Newspaper and Hoang Thanh Media Joint Stock Company.

Bearing the message "Vietnamese Women - A Thousand Years of Beauty," the competition is not only a place to preserve and promote traditional cultural values, but also marks the impressive presence of Vietnamese beauty on international beauty pageant stages.

Miss Vietnam not only represents beauty but also embodies profound human values, spreading positivity and inspiring the community.

Journalist Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper and Head of the competition's organizing committee, believes that the competition not only honors physical beauty and affirms the role and value of Vietnamese women, but also serves as a cultural bridge, arousing national pride and connecting traditional values ​​with modernity.

"With four pillars of 'Beauty - Culture - Intelligence - Contribution,' the competition aims to find outstanding representatives who embody comprehensive beauty, intelligence, cultural background, soul, and character," said journalist Phung Cong Suong.

For the first time co-organizing the Miss Vietnam pageant, Mr. Hoang Tho Ninh, Chairman and CEO of Hoang Thanh Media Joint Stock Company, stated that his company hopes to absorb the core values ​​of the competition and strive to work with Tien Phong Newspaper to further spread the radiant image of Vietnamese women in the era of national progress.

According to the organizers, the Miss Vietnam 2024 competition will begin at universities in the North, Central, and South regions starting in January 2025.

The contestants continued to participate in various creative, cultural, and charitable activities in Hanoi, Thua Thien - Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City, before returning to the heroic land of Quang Tri to attend the flag-raising ceremony at the 17th parallel on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country.

The final round of the competition will be held in Hue City.
