
Actor Park Dong Bin passed away suddenly at the age of 56.

On April 30th, Chosun and many other South Korean news outlets simultaneously reported on the sudden death of Park Dong Bin. According to the Pyeongtaek Police Department in Gyeonggi Province (South Korea) and related sources, at approximately 4:25 PM on April 29th, the 56-year-old artist was found dead at a restaurant in a commercial area in Jangan-dong, Pyeongtaek City. At the scene, authorities found no signs of foul play or any notes or documents that could help determine the cause or circumstances of the incident. The location of the incident is believed to be the restaurant the star was preparing to open.
The news of Park Dong Bin's sudden death has left many fans and colleagues shocked and saddened. Many colleagues and close friends have sent their condolences to his family and offered words of encouragement to the late actor's wife, actress Lee Sang Yi, to help her overcome the shock of losing her husband.
The wake for the deceased artist was held at Domin Funeral Home in Anseong City, Gyeonggi Province. The funeral procession is scheduled to take place at 8:30 AM on May 1st. The actor will be laid to rest at Useong Park Cemetery.

Park Dong Bin (real name Park Jong Moon) graduated with a degree in theater and film from Chung Ang University (South Korea) and entered the entertainment industry in the mid-1990s. He made his film debut with a supporting role in The Gingko Bed (1996) and gradually made his mark through numerous films and television dramas: Shiri, Rustic Period, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Daughters of Yak Pharmacy House, Taegukgi, The Joseon Beautiful Three Musketeers, I Married an Anti-Fan, Behind Every Star… Among his works, Park Dong Bin is best known for his humorous scenes in the television drama It Was Love (2012), earning him the nickname "Juice Uncle".
In 2020, Park Dong Bin married actress Lee Sang Yi after collaborating on a film project. The couple had a daughter three years later. In a program, the artist revealed that he married late, becoming a father for the first time in his 50s, and also disclosed that his daughter has a complex congenital heart defect and has undergone multiple surgeries.
