Experts even suggest that Apple might call this product the iPhone "Ultra," similar to what's mentioned about the M1 chip.

Leaked information suggests that Apple's first foldable iPhone will feature a 5.5-inch external display, a size considered rather modest by the standards of current iPhone models.

However, once the inner screen is revealed, the device's 7.8-inch size will easily surpass all other versions to officially hold the title of the largest iPhone screen.

Assuming the current generation's sizes remain the same, the 2026 product line will have the following screen configurations: the iPhone 18 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch screen, while the iPhone Fold will boast an internal screen of up to 7.8 inches.

This marks the first time in history that an iPhone model will have a larger screen than even the Pro Max version, which is considered the most premium model.

This change could pose a challenge for traditional Pro Max users. If their top priority is owning the largest screen size, will they need to switch to the iPhone Fold?

For professional users and those who are always eager to experience cutting-edge technology, the answer is most likely yes.

However, analysts believe that the majority of other consumers will still stick with the familiar and proven Pro Max size, at least for the first year the iPhone Fold is introduced to the market.
