On May 18th, in Hanoi , the Vietnam Nursing Magazine held an awards ceremony for the photo contest "The Beauty of Vietnamese Nurses" to commemorate the 59th anniversary of International Nurses Day and the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth.
After more than 20 days since its launch, the photo contest attracted over 1,000 entries featuring stories and images of beautiful moments of nurses, technicians, midwives, and students working and studying at medical facilities, universities, and medical colleges nationwide.
With the votes of numerous readers and the impartial work of the judging panel, 39 outstanding works were selected and awards were presented. As a result, Nurse Quách Thị Thanh Tú from the General Internal Medicine Department (Provincial General Hospital) excellently won the A prize in the "Beauty of Vietnamese Nurses" photo contest. In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 2 A prizes, 3 B prizes, 3 C prizes, and 6 Consolation prizes to contestants, along with many other supplementary awards.
The competition aims to promote the image of the Vietnam Nurses Association in general and its affiliated units in particular, creating a positive effect and widespread dissemination of the image of nurses as individuals who work silently but tirelessly and deserve respect.
