This event is part of a series of activities in response to the National Digital Transformation Day on October 10th and in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City to promote programs connecting digital transformation, applying technology, and innovation.

Taking place over two days, from September 12-13, Tech4Life is an annual technology event in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on showcasing smart technology products, platforms, solutions, and devices, and updating on digital transformation trends to promote technology application and integrate technology into all aspects of life.

The event contributes to supporting the people, government, and businesses of Ho Chi Minh City in accessing and applying new technological trends, serving the digital transformation of businesses and the smartening of people's lives.

Tech4life 2024 features key activities including: exhibitions, conferences, and business networking; thematic workshops with over 30 speakers presenting papers; and more than 50 businesses showcasing equipment and technology solutions from Vietnam and countries such as Russia, South Korea, and China.

With the overarching theme "Technology Enhancing Life," Tech4life 2024 focuses on introducing and showcasing groundbreaking new technology products, devices, and solutions across three content areas: Tech4Work (Technology for B2B), Tech4Life (Technology for B2C), and Tech4Entertainment (Technology for B2C).

Speaking at the opening session, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang, a founding member of the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association, said that in recent years, digital transformation has permeated every individual, every household, every organization, and especially the business community in all sectors.

In 2024, the Prime Minister identified digital transformation as a key focus of economic development, with four pillars: Information and communication technology industry, digitalization of sectors, digital governance, and digital data.

The business community, especially technology companies, needs to be at the forefront of applying technology to innovate and achieve significant breakthroughs.

According to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang, the application of technology has become the golden key to helping businesses quickly adapt and transform in the context of a constantly changing socio-economic environment.

Technology not only opens up opportunities for businesses to thrive, but also enhances their competitiveness and creates breakthroughs in business.

According to experts, Ho Chi Minh City aims to become a smart city by 2030, with comprehensive innovation in the operation of digital government, digital businesses, and a prosperous and civilized digital society.

Therefore, since 2018, Ho Chi Minh City has identified "data exploitation" as a core task and a shared data warehouse as a comprehensive solution in bridging the gap between the current situation and the digital transformation goals by 2025.

Tech4life 2024 is a platform for technology companies, equipment suppliers, and digital transformation solution providers to showcase and demonstrate cutting-edge technologies for work, life, and entertainment.
