On the morning of September 13th, the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee held a dialogue with nearly 300 businesses, representing almost 3,400 businesses throughout the province. The dialogue was attended by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vo Van Hung, two Vice Chairmen, Ha Si Dong and Hoang Nam, along with directors of various provincial departments and agencies.
Opening the dialogue, Vice Chairman Ha Si Dong urged businesses to speak frankly, focusing on the difficulties that need to be resolved, and to offer suggestions and creative solutions to help the province overcome challenges.
He also requested that departments provide specific and targeted answers to build trust among businesses, ensuring that their requests are addressed and creating new momentum for businesses to confidently expand their investments and contribute to the province's development.
Mr. Dong said that Quang Tri province always pays attention to, meets with, and strengthens understanding, empathy, and sharing to find solutions to support businesses.

Quang Tri province has over 3,400 businesses with a total registered capital of 70,000 billion VND. The total gross regional product (GRDP) of businesses in the province is estimated to reach 28,000 billion VND in 2024, contributing approximately 65.7% of the province's GRDP.
Opening the dialogue, Mr. Le Dinh Sung - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Minh Hung Joint Stock Company - raised the issue that the company has been facing many difficulties, having to temporarily suspend operations, and workers losing their jobs…
So what specific measures and support will the Provincial People's Committee provide to help entrepreneurs and businesses overcome difficulties and challenges?
Mr. Truong Chi Trung, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, gave a brief response, outlining breakthroughs to boost the economy , including accelerating key projects, digital transformation, improving human resource quality, and enhancing the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI)...
Immediately afterwards, businesses raised frank questions about incomplete infrastructure in industrial zones, scarcity of construction materials, time-consuming value-added tax refund procedures, the deterioration of National Highway 15D affecting goods transportation and the risk of accidents, and the lengthy investment procedures (from six months to a year) in both public and non-budgetary investment sectors…
After each issue raised by businesses, provincial leaders require relevant departments to provide accurate and focused answers. Each answer should not exceed 5 minutes.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Hung stated that the opinions expressed were frank, responsible, and highly practical, and had been largely addressed directly by the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, departments, and localities.
Following this dialogue, he suggested that departments and localities should be proactive, pioneering, flexible, and creative in resolving issues; regularly organize meetings and dialogues with businesses; improve the quality of business support services; attract investment in conjunction with reforming the business environment; and ensure fairness, equality, and objectivity for all businesses, without discrimination or favoritism.
Mr. Hung also suggested that provincial business associations and organizations should regularly monitor proposals and suggestions from businesses, truly acting as a bridge between businesses and the provincial government at all levels.
