Mr. Le Quoc Minh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and President of the Vietnam Journalists Association , stated that Nhan Dan Newspaper is currently among the top 20 central press agencies achieving excellent results in digital transformation.
Besides maintaining its journalistic approach in line with established guidelines, Nhan Dan newspaper has applied many modern journalistic methods to meet the needs of all citizens in accessing the news, with a particular focus on the younger generation, the future owners of the country.
In 2025, the entire political system will hold Party congresses at all levels. This is not only a large-scale and far-reaching political activity throughout the Party and the entire nation, but also a prerequisite for the successful organization of the 14th National Congress of the Party.
Following the directives of General Secretary To Lam, and at the request of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Nhan Dan Newspaper, in coordination with C06, has uploaded news articles and features to the VNeID application to serve the dissemination of the Party's guidelines, policies, and the State's laws to the people.
"The collaboration with C06, Ministry of Public Security, is an important step in the digital transformation strategy and in building Nhan Dan Newspaper into a leading multimedia news agency, effectively fulfilling its role as the voice of the Party, the State, and the people. Through this, the VneID application also opens up greater opportunities for people to access complete, accurate, and timely information in a practical and convenient way," Mr. Le Quoc Minh affirmed.
Colonel Ngo Nhu Cuong, Deputy Director of Department C06, said that in recent times, many features on the VNeID application have served citizens and businesses, with citizens and businesses at the center, such as: issuing criminal record certificates, electronic health records, initial vehicle registration, integration of marital status, vehicle registration, electronic driver's licenses; integration of banking services, e-wallets, digital signatures, etc.
This contributes to simplifying administrative procedures and creating favorable conditions for people to carry out transactions and procedures.
