It looks like Dodge isn't giving up on the V8, which means the Durango will come in two R/T and SRT Hellcat flavors, and it'll be back another year.

Dodge has released details about the 2026 Durango, quelling rumors that the current generation will end after 2025. In addition to extending the Durango's lifecycle by at least one more year, Dodge also confirmed the return of the V8-powered R/T and SRT Hellcat models. Prices for the GT and R/T models remain the same as in 2025, at $40,490 and $51,990, respectively, with the SRT Hellcat's price set to be announced later this year.
Dodge continued to surprise when the Durango SRT Hellcat was launched in 2021 and was known to only last for 1 year. However, after 1 year of hiatus, Dodge's director realized that sales were declining. So the company decided to bring back the Durango Hellcat in 2023. Then again in 2024 and then a series of special editions for 2025. On the Dodge side, the common point of the Durango is the "final 2023", "final 2024", "final edition 2025" version. Dodge has not mentioned a final edition this time, meaning the company is trying to plan for another year. In the third quarter of this year, the company will announce a 7-seat Hellcat model.
In addition to the high-performance model, Dodge announced details about the entire 2026 Durango lineup, including the GT version with a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine (295 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque), the R/T version with a 5.7L Hemi V8 engine (360 horsepower and 529 Nm of torque). The GT model will continue to remain unchanged, including the starting price of 40,490 USD, equivalent to 1,045 billion VND. The Durango SRT Hellcat is equipped with a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine with 710 horsepower and 874 Nm of torque. Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The R/T adds two new wheel options, and the $5,990 Tow 'N Go package returns as a stand-alone option. There's also a $3,495 Blacktop Redline package that includes 20x8.0-inch Black Noise wheels, black badging, and special SRT front and rear spoilers.
