Visiting Pac Ta in the early spring of 2026, the changes in this highland commune are clearly evident. Long stretches of concrete roads, lined with trees and adorned with vibrant flowers, create a fresh and lively rural landscape. Transportation is considered one of the outstanding highlights in the New Rural Development program in Pac Ta commune. All 38.1 km of the commune's main roads have been concreted or asphalted, reaching 100%. The system of village and inter-village roads has also received investment, with 21.8/23.05 km already hardened, achieving a rate of 94.5%... making travel and daily life more convenient than ever for the people.

Officials in Pac Ta commune are always close to the people, assisting them in carrying out administrative procedures.
The main internal roads serving agricultural production have also been paved for 23.66/34.85km, making the transportation of agricultural products and goods easier and smoother. These efforts affirm the determination to improve transportation infrastructure, creating a solid foundation to promote local socio -economic development.
Regarding irrigation criteria, Pac Ta commune has effectively managed and operated its irrigation facilities in accordance with regulations. As a result, the commune's irrigation system operates stably, meeting the irrigation needs for agricultural production and people's lives. Currently, over 85% of the commune's agricultural land is under active irrigation and drainage; specifically, the area under rice cultivation reaches 760/790 hectares, equivalent to 96.2%, contributing to bountiful harvests.

Pac Ta commune has always identified income as the "golden key" to unlocking success for other criteria in the New Rural Development Program. Recognizing the existing potential, in recent years, officials and people here have worked together to transform land into an effective economic resource. On the fields, in addition to maintaining commercial rice cultivation, previously unproductive land has been converted by farmers to grow high-value fruit and industrial crops such as jackfruit, custard apple, durian, pineapple, asparagus, tea, etc.; people have also promoted the application of scientific and technological advancements in production.
In addition to focusing on crop cultivation, Pac Ta commune is also developing large-scale livestock farming towards commercial production, helping to increase income. By the end of 2025, the average per capita income is expected to reach 51 million VND/year. With steady steps and the joint efforts of the entire community, Pac Ta is gradually realizing its goal of improving the lives of its people.
Taking advantage of his spacious garden land and favorable climate conditions, in 2022, Mr. Le Van Tuoi in Son Ha village (Pac Ta commune) established a horse breeding model. Initially starting with just a few horses, thanks to careful care and systematic investment in everything from stables to the application of breeding techniques, his herd has now grown to over 50 horses (including both white horses and breeding horses). Mr. Tuoi's horse breeding model not only opens up a new economic development direction for his family but also contributes to diversifying agricultural production models in the locality.
Mr. Tuoi shared: “I built sturdy stables to raise 50 horses. During the breeding process, I keep the stables clean, proactively prevent diseases, and pay attention to the horses' diet. As a result, the horses thrive and bring high economic efficiency. Initially, I focus on breeding horses, and later I will move towards specialized production of horse products to increase my family's income.”

The criteria for multidimensional poverty reduction are also a top priority for the government and people of Pac Ta commune. Over the years, the commune's People's Committee has implemented many programs and projects to support production development, create sustainable livelihoods, and increase income for households, gradually improving their lives. Thanks to the close coordination of support solutions and the determination of the community, the rate of multidimensional poverty in the area has decreased significantly (to 12.6% in 2025).
Comrade Nguyen Van Son - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Pac Ta commune shared: “The commune always considers the National Target Program for building New Rural Areas as a key task, which is led, directed, and implemented decisively. In particular, the work of disseminating information and mobilizing people to participate in the movement is carried out regularly and widely, creating a ripple effect in the community. People's awareness of building New Rural Areas is increasingly improving, gradually affirming the role of each individual as the main subject. As a result, many families have agreed to donate land, contribute labor, and work together to create real changes for their homeland. To date, Pac Ta commune has completed 15 out of 19 criteria (planning, transportation, irrigation, electricity, cultural facilities, rural commercial infrastructure, information and communication, income, multidimensional poverty reduction, labor, production organization and rural economic development, culture, environment and food safety, political system, access to law, national defense and security).” These efforts have brought a new look to the countryside; specialized agricultural production areas have gradually formed, bringing high economic efficiency; political security and social order have been maintained, creating a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Pac Ta commune.”
Thanks to synchronized solutions, decisive leadership from the entire political system, and the unwavering solidarity and efforts of the people, Pac Ta commune is striving to complete the remaining criteria and move closer to the "finish line" of the New Rural Development Program. This success is not only the result of hard work and creativity but also a strong driving force to promote socio-economic development, improve the lives of the people, and contribute to building an increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized Pac Ta homeland. In the vibrant atmosphere of welcoming the Year of the Horse 2026, the villages of Pac Ta are filled with the colors of plum and peach blossoms, heralding a new year full of good fortune and peace.
