According to a report from the Department of Finance, as of June 11, 2026, the entire province has 1,244 surplus land and property assets that need to be processed following the reorganization of the administrative apparatus and the implementation of the two-tiered local government model. To date, most of the assets subject to transfer have completed the procedures, while the remaining ones are still having their dossiers finalized by relevant agencies and localities for submission to competent authorities for consideration and decision.
Regarding the transfer of surplus land and buildings to local authorities for management and processing, the entire province has issued decisions to transfer 1,099 properties. Of these, 10 properties were assigned to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for management, and 1,089 properties were assigned to local authorities. To date, 322 properties have been processed according to the approved plan.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc Sam requested that departments, agencies, and localities continue to review legal documents, strengthen coordination, and accelerate implementation progress; resolutely overcome delays and shirking of responsibility. For facilities that continue to operate, it is necessary to organize on-site inspections and assessments to advise on appropriate allocation plans, ensuring efficient use of public assets and avoiding waste of state resources.
