With the determination to achieve this target, the Department of Industry and Trade will proactively and promptly inform businesses of directives from higher authorities regarding the export situation, ensuring their confidence and proactive approach in production and business activities. Simultaneously, it will strengthen market forecasting activities, disseminate market information promptly, and identify and address technical trade barriers early on.

In addition, the province will actively support processing and exporting businesses to increase investment in technological innovation and equipment, and expand production scale, in order to improve quality, increase value, and enhance the competitiveness of the province's export goods. In particular, businesses will be encouraged to diversify their import markets, avoiding dependence on a single market for raw materials. The focus will be on purchasing and processing export-oriented products in which the province has potential, such as shrimp, rice, and salt.
In addition, the implementation of the Bac Lieu High-Tech Agricultural Zone for Shrimp Development and other high-tech shrimp farming areas in the province will be accelerated, ensuring the required quality and raw material supply for seafood processing for export. Currently, exports are primarily conducted through official channels, therefore, there is a need for raw material areas that meet regulations on origin, geographical indications, environmental protection, food safety and hygiene, packaging and labeling, etc.
Simultaneously, focus on attracting investment to build large-scale, high-quality rice processing facilities for export in the districts of Hong Dan, Vinh Loi, Phuoc Long, Hoa Binh , and Gia Rai town. These facilities should operate on a closed-loop system, from investment in production to procurement, processing, preservation, and export, while effectively implementing solutions to address difficulties faced by businesses in production and trade.
On the other hand, trade promotion activities will be intensified to support businesses in finding and expanding domestic markets for goods, and expanding export markets (focusing on shrimp, rice, and salt exports...). Market management will be strengthened, coordinating with relevant agencies to inspect and promptly handle acts of trading counterfeit and substandard goods and commercial fraud that affect production and the quality of raw materials for export processing. The province will resolutely prevent the injection of impurities into raw shrimp, violations of pricing regulations in raw material procurement, and ensure food safety and hygiene, contributing to increasing the province's export turnover in 2025…
