Storms ripped off roofs of houses and offices in Lam Dong province.

On June 23, the Lam Dong Provincial Civil Defense Command announced that the locality is continuing to direct efforts to mitigate the consequences of the heavy rain and thunderstorms that occurred on the afternoon of June 22 in Ham Thang and Binh Thuan wards, causing damage to many houses and offices, and injuring one person.

Specifically, on the afternoon of June 22nd, heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms and hailstorms occurred unexpectedly, with strong gusts of wind tearing off the roofs of 14 houses. Of these, 12 were in Ham Thang ward and 2 in Binh Thuan ward. In addition, a solar power system on the roof of a resident's house in Ham Thang ward was also severely damaged.

Notably, the storm completely ripped off the roofs of two offices at the Ham Thang Ward People's Committee headquarters, causing damage to many documents and equipment. One ward staff member was injured when a metal bar fell on him and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
