Following the merger, Dong Cuong commune is gradually asserting its role as a shining example in the sustainable transformation of its economic structure. With strong political determination and a proactive and flexible approach, the locality has focused on investing in a comprehensive technical infrastructure system, especially transportation, while simultaneously promoting industrial development, attracting investment, and developing human resources. These comprehensive solutions are becoming an important driving force, creating a foundation for Dong Cuong to break through and develop rapidly and sustainably.

Recognizing that infrastructure development is a breakthrough and plays a solid foundation for rapid and sustainable growth, Dong Cuong commune has mobilized maximum investment resources, prioritizing key projects with high connectivity and ripple effects. From national target programs and public investment capital to socialized resources, many rural transportation and community infrastructure projects have been implemented, contributing to changing the local landscape.

Following the merger of the former communes of Quang Minh, An Binh, Dong Cuong, and Dong An, the commune received 10 projects with a total investment of over 7.5 billion VND. To date, 9 out of 10 projects have been completed and put into use, with a disbursement rate of 99% of the plan. The upgraded and expanded roads have created favorable conditions for people to travel and transport goods, promoting trade and gradually increasing the value of agricultural production.

In addition to state budget investment, Dong Cuong has also effectively promoted the principle of "the State and the People working together." The people actively donated land, contributed labor and materials to expand and reinforce inter-village and internal field roads. As a result, the transportation system is increasingly complete, creating an important foundation for socio-economic development.

The road in Tra village, Dong Cuong commune, is scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, facilitating travel, trade, and promoting production development.

Ms. Tran Thi Phuong from Toan An village, Dong Cuong commune, shared: “Previously, transportation was difficult, agricultural product transport faced many obstacles, and prices were unstable. Now, with the roads being solidly built, travel is more convenient, traders can easily come to buy, and people's lives are gradually improving.”

The people of Dong Cuong are even more excited as the IC 15 interchange project of the Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway is being implemented in their area. Upon completion, it will be a crucial interchange connecting transportation routes, opening up new opportunities and impetus for the development of industry, trade, tourism, and various services; creating a breakthrough for the commune's future progress. Given its importance, the investor is working closely with the contractor to accelerate construction progress, striving to complete the project as soon as possible.

The Dong Cuong commune industrial cluster project is being implemented with the expectation of creating more jobs for local workers.

Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, from Toan An village, Dong Cuong commune, hopes that the completed project will help reduce travel time, save on goods transportation costs, and enhance economic exchange between localities.

Currently, six projects have been and are being implemented in the two industrial clusters, opening up new development opportunities. Factories in the industrial clusters and businesses and production facilities in the commune have created regular jobs for over 1,000 people with an average income of 8-12 million VND/month.
