The "Supporting Farmers" program in 2026 provided assistance to 40 farming households in Binh Thanh and Trung Hoi communes with a total resource of over 1.12 billion VND. Of this, 1 billion VND was provided in the form of interest-free loans for a period of 2 years. In addition to the capital, the households also received support in the form of animal feed, participated in technical training courses, improved their production knowledge, developed sustainable livelihoods, and gradually took proactive steps to escape poverty.
Mr. Dao Tien's family is one of 40 households in Binh Thanh and Trung Hoi communes that benefited from a program organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with GREENFEED Vietnam Joint Stock Company, the Provincial Farmers' Association, and the Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union. For many households, this is not only a source of capital to support production but also timely encouragement, giving them more confidence to overcome difficulties.
Mr. Tien shared: "This financial support is very meaningful to my family. We will use it to repair the barns, restore livestock farming, and gradually stabilize our lives. I deeply appreciate the concern and support that the agencies and units have given to the local people during this difficult time."
It's not just Mr. Tien's family; many other households also see this support as a "lever" to continue developing their economy . Among them is the family of Ms. Duong Thi Yen, in Buc Viet village, Trung Hoi commune.
Ms. Yen said that her family has three children, and their main source of income comes from her husband's delivery job and a small tea plantation. Life was already difficult, and the economic burden became even greater when their eldest daughter unfortunately suffered severe burns when she was just over a year old.
Recalling that time, she couldn't hide her emotions. The months spent taking her child for treatment cost the family a great deal of money. Despite numerous treatments, her daughter's hands could never return to normal, leaving behind numerous scars. However, what always made this mother proud and gave her the strength to overcome difficulties was the willpower of her little daughter.
Ms. Yen shared: "Le Thanh Truc is a very well-behaved and determined girl. Due to the damage to her hands after burns, she faces many difficulties in daily life and in her studies. She mainly uses her left hand for daily activities and even when learning to write. Despite this, she always tries her best, never complaining or giving up."
Watching the little girl patiently practice writing each letter with her healthy hand moved many people. Her strength became a source of encouragement for the whole family to continue striving in life.

In Lang Nap village, Binh Thanh commune, the family of Mr. Ma Khanh Trung and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai is also one of the households with particularly difficult circumstances that benefited from the "Supporting Farmers" program in 2026.
After more than 20 years of longing, the couple finally welcomed their only daughter, Ma Thi Yen Vi. Their happiness was short-lived, however, as the family faced a tragedy when Mr. Trung fell ill with a serious disease requiring long-term treatment. To pay for her husband's medical expenses, Mrs. Hai was forced to sell most of their farmland – the family's main source of livelihood. Their already difficult lives became even more challenging.
Nevertheless, the couple always tried their best to give their daughter, who was in 8th grade, the best things in life. For many years, Yen Vi was an excellent student at her school. Understanding her family's circumstances and the hardships her mother faced, she always strived in her studies with the aspiration of becoming a doctor in the future.
The stories of Ms. Hai's family and Ms. Yen's family are just two of many families facing considerable hardship in Binh Thanh and Trung Hoi communes. Each family has its own unique story, but the common thread is that they all refuse to surrender to fate, persevering in their work, nurturing hope, and striving to improve their lives through their own efforts.
Commenting on the significance of the program, Mr. Luu Ngoc Trung, Secretary of the Party Committee of Binh Thanh commune, said: "The program was implemented systematically, selecting the right beneficiaries and meeting the actual needs of the people. The support capital not only helps households develop their economy but also creates motivation for them to boldly invest in production, increase income, stabilize their lives, and gradually rise out of poverty."
