Coffee prices are forecast to rise again tomorrow, March 4, 2025 .

As of the afternoon of March 3rd, after several sessions of sharp declines, domestic coffee prices have increased by 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday. This recovery occurred after the market recorded stronger buying demand from exporters.

Experts believe the market is showing signs of recovery; a report from ICE indicates that Arabica inventories at supervised warehouses remain at their lowest level in nine months, supporting market sentiment.

Coffee plantations in Dak Lak province are in full bloom with ripe beans.

However, coffee prices still face many risks, as the Brazilian Real continues to weaken, prompting Brazilian farmers to increase sales. At the same time, with abundant Robusta supply from Vietnam, coffee prices may not yet be entering a period of significant increase.

On the world market, coffee prices have fallen significantly in the last two weeks as roasters have accumulated sufficient inventory after previous purchases, while speculators are aggressively taking profits.

According to experts, the current drop in coffee prices is not due to abundant supply but is also influenced by several other factors. In fact, Robusta inventories monitored by ICE have fallen to their lowest level in two months, reaching only 4,247 lots on Friday. Meanwhile, Arabica inventories also hit their lowest level in nine and a half months, falling to 758,514 bags last Tuesday.
