Da Nang tourism generates billions in revenue

NDO - According to the Department of Tourism of Da Nang City, during the Lunar New Year 2025, total tourism revenue is estimated to reach 1,887 billion VND, an increase of 19.4% compared to the 2024 holiday.

Specifically, the total number of visitors to Da Nang during the Lunar New Year 2025 is estimated to reach more than 469,000, an increase of 16.7% compared to the 2024 holiday (an increase of 3.2% compared to the report before the holiday). Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach more than 228,000, an increase of 29% compared to the 2024 holiday, domestic visitors are estimated to reach more than 241,000.

According to information from Da Nang International Airport, during the Lunar New Year 2025 (from January 25 to February 2, 2025, from December 26 to January 5), there will be an estimated 1,275 flights to Da Nang, an increase of 58% compared to the 2024 holiday. On average, there will be about 141 flights/day (64 international flights and 77 domestic flights). Of which, there will be 577 international flights, an increase of 45% compared to the 2024 holiday; 698 domestic flights, an increase of 71% compared to the 2024 holiday.

During the Lunar New Year 2025, there will be 2 cruise ships arriving at Tien Sa port, bringing 1,800 American and British tourists to visit famous destinations in Da Nang city such as Ngu Hanh Son, Linh Ung - Son Tra Pagoda, Cham Sculpture Museum...

In addition, the number of people and tourists participating in the Han River cruise experience is also quite high, estimated at 23,200, an increase of 7% compared to the 2024 holiday. The general capacity of accommodation establishments is estimated at about 50%, of which the 4-5 star block and equivalent reaches 60-65% (an increase of about 10% compared to the 2024 holiday).
