Da Nang tourism industry reaps trillions of dong in revenue.

According to the Da Nang City Department of Tourism , during the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Snake 2025, total tourism revenue is estimated to reach 1,887 billion VND, an increase of 19.4% compared to the same holiday period in 2024.

Specifically, the total number of tourists visiting Da Nang during the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Snake 2025 is estimated at over 469,000, an increase of 16.7% compared to the 2024 holiday (an increase of 3.2% compared to the pre-holiday report). Of these, international tourists are estimated at over 228,000, an increase of 29% compared to the 2024 holiday, and domestic tourists are estimated at over 241,000.

According to information from Da Nang International Airport, during the Lunar New Year holiday of the Year of the Snake 2025 (from January 25th to February 2nd, 2025, or the 26th day of the 12th lunar month to the 5th day of the 1st lunar month), an estimated 1,275 flights will arrive in Da Nang, a 58% increase compared to the 2024 holiday period. On average, approximately 141 flights will be received per day (64 international and 77 domestic flights). Of these, 577 will be international flights, a 45% increase compared to the 2024 holiday period; and 698 will be domestic flights, a 71% increase compared to the 2024 holiday period.

During the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025, two cruise ships docked at Tien Sa port, bringing 1,800 American and British tourists to visit famous destinations in Da Nang city such as the Marble Mountains, Linh Ung Pagoda - Son Tra, and the Cham Sculpture Museum…

In addition, the number of locals and tourists participating in the Han River cruise experience was quite high, estimated at 23,200, an increase of 7% compared to the 2024 holiday. The overall occupancy rate of accommodation establishments was estimated at around 50%, with 4-5 star and equivalent establishments reaching 60-65% (an increase of nearly 10% compared to the 2024 holiday).
