At dawn, from the open sea, fishing boats, squid-catching boats, and net-fishing boats, after a night at sea, line up to return to shore. Local people paddle out in basket boats to transport the fish and shrimp ashore to sell to tourists.
Originally from Quang Ngai but having migrated to Phu Quoc and lived in Tran Phu fishing village for 30 years, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham shared: "I don't know when this fishing village was established. Most of the people here come from the central and northern provinces, and they live with kindness and affection for each other."
