At the conference, speakers from various departments and agencies disseminated the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations on managing and protecting national territorial sovereignty and border security; regulations on preventing and combating illegal immigration; preventing and combating human trafficking; drug crimes; and high-tech crimes. They also encouraged the people to actively participate in protecting the border and boundary markers, and maintaining security and order in border areas.

At the conference, several pressing issues such as child marriage, consanguineous marriage, domestic violence, and other social evils were raised and analyzed to improve public awareness.

The highlight of the conference was the presentation on the "Digital Literacy Movement" launched by the Provincial Border Guard Command, helping people access and effectively use digital platforms in learning, work, and daily life.

The Border Guard's team of presenters conveyed the core content of the movement, guiding people on how to use smartphones to access official information sources, effectively utilize applications for production and business, and improve their quality of life. In addition, people were equipped with knowledge and skills to identify online scams; protect personal data; and use social media safely, responsibly, and respectfully.

In addition, the conference also introduced models and applications of digital technology used by border guards in border management and protection, and in combating crime; encouraging people to actively participate in digital transformation, gradually developing basic digital skills, and contributing to building digital citizens and a digital society right from the border areas.

Border guards directly guided people in practicing basic digital skills on smartphones, such as installing and using the VNeID electronic identification application, accessing the National Public Service Portal and provincial online public services, searching for official information, using cashless payment platforms, scanning QR codes, etc.
