On the morning of February 6th, three cargo ships worked to unload more than 30 tons of goods, including food, essential supplies, fuel, and gas, onto Cu Lao Cham island.
According to ship owners, each vessel carries an average of over 10 tons of cargo per trip. With forecasts predicting rough seas again due to the influence of the northeast monsoon, ships are taking advantage of the situation to sail continuously today and tomorrow (February 7th).
With the aim of ensuring that the people, officials, and soldiers on the island can enjoy a joyful and fulfilling Lunar New Year celebration, the ships are taking advantage of the opportunity to transport additional supplies for repairing and decorating houses and units.
